users of Sony Xperia sp,there is issue of low sound after update.but I av found a solution. open d play music application on ur phone,play a track on it,tap d option sign at d rite top corner,tap settings and equalizer,set d equalizer to ur taste,play anoda track,stop nd exit d application.open ur Walkman app,play any track u will notice there is boost in sound.hope dis helps!

hey bros, I mean when the notification light is not on, at day tym, is it seems stylish ? or bad ? to me it seems bad just look at other phn such as m2 or L or z they looks very handsome because there is no notification glass at the end of phone....so at day tym nd without the lyt on, is it looks like a cheap chinese design in SP??

Pls help...volume bar turns black after i install some apps or themes...tried removing them....even tried repairing d phone via pc companion and did factory reset twice...Problem still persists...is this issue for all using 4.3???.....

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2014samsung galaxy granf 2 or galaxy s4 mini or xperia spwell choose galaxy s 4 mini or grand 2 if you are fond of selfies. as it has better front facing camera than Xperia Sp. however if you're after performance then go for xperia Sp. it has better core processing power and also better GPU for HD gaming. but there's a catch. you need to buy the 4.1 android version of xperia SP in order for you to experience a lag free device. the 4.3 update makes the SP lag a lot and slow a lot of times.

Joel, 27 Apr 201324000 from Pune....i plugged in a MDR XB400 headphones for ... moredear joel, plz tell the audio quality of ths phone via bundld headphones and mdr-ex 400?is it beter thn ipod?i want phone with best audio output...if any 1 have used 3rd party earbuds wth ths cell, plz share ur opnion specly Bass wise....

veenoo90@gmail.com, 17 Mar 2014Hye..i dont know want buy sony xperia c or xperia sp..pleas... moreHi there, hmm, I don't recommend sony xperia C, it is inferior than xperia Sp, even if xperia C uses quadcore it still can't match the SP. because it uses a low powered mediatek chipset, and they can't promise update to the newest android version so my guess is that it will get stock to to 4.2.2 jellybean. performance wise, Xperia C can not match Xperia SP. Xperia SP is more powerful than C. you can check the benchmark scores of both and you will see the big difference, also C only have 4GB internal memory and i don't think all of it is user available let's say only 2GB is user available meaning you can't install many apps on your limited storage. design wise C is all made of plastic, unlike SP it has a aluminum frame that makes it feel solid, plus the illuminating bar below the screen it is awesome when playing walkman music.
all in all Xperia SP is better than C, and Xperia C is not a proper alternative choisce for SP. if you want an alternative i will say go for Xperia ZR. it has all the good stuff of both SP and C. it is also quadcore but uses a more powerful chipset.

Hang after 4.3 update. Xperia SP bad choice..... Don't buy...

Everything is ok abt this phone, bt 1 thing confusing me, that is the notification light bar. i wonder why sony added this bar ? i think it destroys the beauty of the phone. it feels like cheap china phone .... guys does it bother u also? should i buy this phone ? is the notification light makes the phne look bad ? and its weight is high .... so suggest me please ???

Very good phone, very responsive touch screen. I chose sp over other sony phones because it's thick, i dont like my phone too thin. Upgraded to 4.3, I had to reinstall some of the apps after update but no real problems after that. The only thing I find lacking is the battery life, but it's almost the same with most of the smartphones nowadays.

After the update, While watching movies my SPs screen flashes in black(not everytime).did the factory reset and known that the problem was solved but after a week now that bug is still exists.does anyone has the same problem?
