Guys see what hardware our phone has inside it. Battery is almost attached with the touch that's why touch get hotter too.

Xperia ZR:
1) Value-for-money
2) Quad Core with 2GB RAM
3) Have more color options
4) IP59 (Waterpoof Much better than Xperia Z)
5) Good buold quality but doesn't look good due to its thickness. Xperia SP and Xperia Z looks much better.
Xperia Z:
1) Really sexy design
2) First in the list to receive Android 4.4
3) 16GB internal memory
4) Better front facing cam
Xperia ZL:
1) Price is almost similar to Xperia ZR
2) Big screen but very compact design
3) Have IR blaster
4) No 4G
In the end, your decision is base on the price difference. If the price difference is minimal, you should go for Xperia Z. It doesn't have any heating issues like you mentioned.
Xperia ZL is good alternative but the only drawback is it doesn't have 4G.
Xperia ZR is good value products but in my opinion, it is one of the ugliest Sony phone.
Xperia SP is great device, it's my primary phone right now. In Malaysia, the price diff between Xperia SP and Xperia ZR is RM350-RM400 which is a lot of money. So I would say Xperia SP is the BEST PHONE in this price range. I've been using it for a year now with absolutely no issues.

If you dont mind a small screen (4.55") then zr is the best choice as it has similar specs as nexus 7 and the best camera of the phones you have listed

k11, 16 Mar 2014Xperia c cant match sp in anything except for screen size..... moreZR has better performance but is thick and the back looks like one of the budget Xperia - one ugly phone. SP is unique and thrashes many quad-core devices. Xperia Z the best until z1 came out.

hi every body..... i want to buy phone for entertainment purpose like
(1) gaming
(2) watching 1080p movies
(3) web browsing
(4) camera....
so after a huge research there i have sorted out 3 devices
in which 2 are phone and 1 is tablet
so w.r.t my above requirement which one should i buy....
xperia sp
xperia zr
xperia z (butt due its over heat problem i am confused)
google nexus 7 (2013)....
waiting for your sugesstions..

if you want to stop the hang do a factory reset then install"mobile care" and update it and you should do fine

An audiophile here.
When you increase clear bass, the headphone volume in walkman suddenly reduces significantly after two or three seconds, as the bass increases.
It happens on every xperia phone I hear music on - Xperia Ion, Xperia SP and Xperia Z1.
Will Sony ever fix this?
It is not Dynamic Normaliser. I switched it off and the sound still reduces.

But in my opinion, u better go for zr bcoz it is even better than sp (faster cpu, double the RAM, better camera and waterproof). The price difference between sp and zr is not much so zr is worth going for

Hi SP users, there is a very nasty thing that I have found, the camera glass of this phone is prone to scratches, i.e. even when your phone is in your pocket due to friction it gets scratches, even if you try to clean it you are actually increasing the scratches, which reduces the camera quality.Please use a plastic/transparent film in front of camera glass to avoid physical scratches bcoz once you have got the scratches you have no other choice but to change the camera.
