I have been using xperia SP since December 16,2013 and it is on jellybean 4.1.2. (4.3) still not available in my region (karachi).
1. It does not lag.
2. Battery backup is superb specially when you are using stamina mode.
3. After factory reset available ram will be 600 mb because its total ram is 768 mb not 1 gb
4. Camera performance is average in daylight.
5. sound quality is awesome.
I do not say anything about its hardware problem because I do not face it.

2) Are apps movable to SD...
- the system will ask you to move some apps/files/videos/ when it almost full to SD.

Hi to all! i bought my xperia sp 3 days ago and first I was a bit suspicious about the update, cause of all the bad commentaries, but today I did it and I love my phone more than ever, wouldn't change it for nothing in the world! Go Sony, Go xperia! :))

Hello guyz ..

My friend would like to buy this phone ... i myself am an xperia lover n have xperia zl ...

bt i have few questions in my mind if few of u can help me out pls

1)How often does the phone hang?
2) Are apps movable to SD card?
3) How much free ram do u get after rebooting the phone?
4) What are the known hardware issues with the phone that needs to be checked while buying the phone ?
5) what about the batter performance .. how much onscreen time do u get usually?

i am no troll .. u can c my comments in Xperia zl section ... Plz those who own Xperia Sp ..take out some time n answer to my queries ..thank you in advance

I am facing 2 bugs with 4.3 update.
1. Touch is not responsive when ph is placed horizontally on a table.
2. Sometimes back key doesn't work

Well i can see a lot of complains about the new update but in my opinion, it is pretty good. I'm not saying it is flawless. Android itself is quite unstable so one can't expect the best all the time. According to me, better RAM management and a good camera app would be the best possible changes Sony can try to make.

I wonder what kind of developers sony hire? They took so much time to update, and when finally releases, comes with lots of bugs.
We wait patiently thinking that sony is taking time for best optimization, but the end result is not good. Sony should learn from its mistakes.

For all people wondering whether to update or not - I say don't. Update is full of bugs same as the Xperia T update. I'm ditching Sony because of this because they did exactly the same thing with the 2011 Xperia ics updates - ruined perfectly good phones. They've had their second chance and failed. And no I'm not a Sammy fan. Their phones look dreadful.

all upgrading people please do not upgrade to 4.3, if possible upgrade to 4.4 or do not upgrade.

Dear all user Sony Xperia SP
I have faced many problems after upgrade the version 4.1 to 4.3
Mobile too hot and battery discharge quickly
Main Camera quality poor
RAM maximum time full free ram only 100 to 150 mb available
All apps unfortunately stop said again and again
Mobile work very slow
Apps open time nearabout 1 minute
Battery take too large time to 100 % near about 4 hrs...
I am using complete security antivirus 1200/- from starting

I request to Sony Xperia pls solved all problems.
I think 4.1 version was good

I've been using this for two months, overall this phone is good. But it has problem when you playing game such as brave frontier or royal revolt 2. The phone become hotter and the battery drain fast.

this is a very awesome phone. it has style , features, qulity ... but they could have include the water proof technology in this.... thatsd the only pboblem i felt inm this phone!! :)

My phone just crashed right now.after playing dead trigger one,it just went off all of a sudden,I tried putting it back on,but screen touch doesn't respond at all,am stucked on d lock screen.pls any solution to this?thank you.
