I had the same issue. Do this...
goto Settings-> apps-> all -> eco mode controller. Then clear data, force stop and restart the phone.

Was really thinking of getting this phone but wanted to know from all of you if it's worth getting? I'm also contemplating if I should just wait and pay more for the Nexus 5 (found SP on craigslist for less than $200 CDN).
I'm not a programmer, photographer or heavy gamer. Would just use it for basic web surf, apps (FB,IG,banking,etc) and maps/directions. Some music and movies/videos too.

I had a problem with my Sony SP. When i transfer the file from internak storage to SD card. My video can`t paly it due to Gracenoteblock my video. How i cant do to watch back the video? Your kind understanding is deeply appreciated.

WiFi Direct as alone can't be used to share files, you need the software to do so. SuperBeam is the answer for you. Install it on both the devices, select the pics or media files, click Share button from top > select SuperBeam. It will generate a QRCode code, scan it with the SuperBeam on other device and the files will be sent over wifi.
I am getting 5Mbps speeds over wifi (with a Alcatel mobile on the other hand).
Make sure the Wifi is turned OFF when starting SuperBeam on both devices. The app itself switchs the wifi ON and connects using WiFi-Direct.

although i like photograpgy but iknow its better to buy digicamera not phone
for me surfing the web and sound quality for playing music are important
and im worried for battery we cant replace

.The phone is awesome ..camera clearity is decent in night but its good in sunlight, fast,clear display fill of sony is far far better than samsung...
If u dnt has any extra exeptation from phns camera thn u can go for it..its 8/10

Xperia sp user, 07 Oct 2013Im using this phone 5 days now and i dosn't have any probli... moreThe picture quality of that 8MP sensor is a huge let-down, particularly in outdoor daylight photography. Definitely no good for anything apart from self-portraits and food shots.
