Recently bought an Xperia SP for a friend, and after spending a few days with it, realized it was NOT file-sharing friendly. I even went into a Sony store to check out if their flagship Z1 was the same, and much to my annoyance, it was. The issue is with sharing files via Wifi-Direct; although the Xperia SP has it, it CANNOT be used to share files. Nor can it be used to receive files. The default file browser is so useless that it can't even move files from the internal storage to micro-SD. I hate to say this, but Sony's android devices are awful half-baked devices, and you'll be much better off looking for something from other manufacturers. What else can we expect from the company that viciously promotes DRM?

SONY way ahead of mmx in all aspects expect cost.
you will see spec similar but quality of sony has no comparisions.
once you used sony phone you wont like any other phones..

hi, i read some people comment, and here my personal review, im using this sony xperia sp(black)bought i 4 months ago,.
first there was a problem when i lay it down, the fingers sensor lost at certain time, and when its connected to pc(os win 7), the screen seem cannot be control,(happen several time,) much people say, these happen so people would not want to buy it.
i did say 'was' right?? so this device ask for update from pc companion. i give my shot yesterday. took about 2 and half hour to complete all the process. then voila, my device fully up to date.(from 12.0.A.1.257 too 12.0.A.2.254).
after update, I've got to tell all xperia sp user, splendid . the bug problem are fix, and its much more swiftly and smooth screen, (not to mention the transparency is nice looking). the problems are gone,.
a little advice, sp is great as the mid range choice from SONY. and i heard rumors from sony itself, that , xperia z1,z,zl,zr,c,sp and several more will update to android jellybean 4.3. thank you

Im using this phone 5 days now and i dosn't have any probliems phone are amazing fast antutu are 21k 400mb ram allways free 8mp camera easy beats xperia acro s 12mp music are perfect what can i say just amazing phone .

There are 3 kinds of storage in a phone Device. Phone memory,Internal storage and SD card storage. can anyone explain to me the size of each one and the difference between internal storage and phone memory?
