i am actually hurt. Xperia sp beats each and every mid range android phone released this year( s5 mini, one mini 2, xperia m2, lg g2 mini etc etc) in synthetic benchmark. That was undoubtedly the best midrange phone of last year. It has adreno 320 and 1.7ghz dual krait cores. And was originally promised that it will get kitkat. I dont know who made the call but it was dumb not to update SP. You dont leave behind your one of the best and most popular phone to create massive negative reaction from your customers. I was considering z3c but i wont buy it now and will go for Galaxy Alpha, cause i used xperia u and the same misfortune happened to me, with SP, its twice in a row. I am sorry but thats it, no more Xperias, i've learnt my lesson.

definitely sony cheated its customers....i had a very very good opinion on SONY mobile....but never will i buy a single goddamn phone from its company..

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2014what 3.75 - 5 mb i downloaded the update via pc companion o... moredude are you serious? it only took me 5-6mins really to update it from .205 to .207, i updated it via the OTA update on the phone and i did not use sus or pcc. seems like using pcc is kinda slow really.

Sad to hear about the company breaking its promise on kit kat and shoving a half baked 4.3 update for sp. My lesson...won't let anyone in my circle of friends waste money on such brands....

Unlock your bootloaders, put on the CM or any other ROM ou prefer and next time just skip Sony's phones when you buy a new one. Don't support the company that lies to its customers by promising one thing and then reneges it.

PLEASE HELP
From the last few days my sony xperia sp is facing hang problem.
Especially in the morning, when the alaram starts, i am not able to shut down the alaram. It hangs and no button works at that time.
I had to forcefully shut it down from the back with emergency shutdown option.
please, can any one help, how to solve this problem

XperiaSp™, 09 Sep 2014just finished updating to .207, it's just small around 3.75... morewhat 3.75 - 5 mb i downloaded the update via pc companion on 4mbps line and it took 6-7 hrs to download. in the mean time i downloaded 3 movies but the phone update was not completed.

The specs about battery are way off. Mine never goes more than 3 days with no usage and with most applications turned off, as I use it only as phone, emails and maps.

just finished updating to .207, it's just small around 3.75mb I finished in 5-6mins. update is almost the same with .205, noticeable thing is ram management improved have 300mb-270mb free space now, will need to monitor the phone for now.
