I personaly saw on their own Xperia SP support pa... moreok at first they may have considered sp to be given an update to kitkat, however as you people may have known they changed that to under investigation which means that they quickly corrected themselves, possibility could be that SP may not perform well if updated to kitkat or they could've put in the future version in error. whatever the reason is, it's still good that sony changed it to under investigation to set proper expectation with it's consumers.
with or without update i love my Xperia SP, it's still an awesome phone without kitkat.

Good phone. KitKat is worse than JellyBean - no move to sd card. Dont upgrade to KitKat.

I bought sony xperia sp because I saw they post android kitkat update. But now I'am very disappointed. Very bad sony you will lose your customers.

thanks god i did not buy xperia sp......now i have learnt a lesson wait for sometime and always buy a flagship.... feeling really sorry ..... i say soory to all xperia sp owners..... :(

XperiaSp™, 10 Sep 2014as said previously they did not promise to give kitkat upda... moreThey did. I personaly saw on their own Xperia SP support page that the next update will be a KitKat. Later, they changed that to "Under investigation".
