He is saying truth the second mic is very poor in quality can not record a little more bass. Hence other low budget cell can record better sound than this. Have a try to record a vedio in party or a song with good bass u will let know everythin.

Anyone that knows the smartphones ,I mean an experienced smartphone user can give me an idea if it is worth buying the SP or not . I HAVE SEEN the specs and seems to be worth the price .I am a symbian phone user , may sound bad but i could not aford it before . Looking forward for an honest answer . THANK YOU .

This phone does not have Active sound cancellation nor does it have a dedicated mic. The video sound recording is terrible. This would be my only con as the phone's microphone is some cheap bs. Also the camera flash is a disappointment you end up having to tinker with the setting's to create a good photo although you can get some pretty good ones, the focusing is slow as-well.
Don't get this phone if you go to raves and want to record heavy bass.

XperiaSp™, 13 Aug 2014well we could say that at first they really planned on givi... moreHey Mr Xperia SP....kitkat was officially released way long back ....d XSP update duration is uptil October 2014...they did mention d future version as Kitkat and even with your deluding explanation you or Sony can't fool us....I still believe that XSP will provide the update and if they are not going to they should have the guts to say so that v can move on...Mann i sound like a pretty lil girl :P

Forget KitKat upgrade!Android L is coming and we want all 2012 devices to get updated to Android L,since it passed 9 months since the initial release of KitKat!!

Many people bought this phone based on the information from the site: "Kit kat - future version". This suggests that in fact the kit kat come to the SP. She did not mention "planned", she mentioned "future". This gives rise to optimistic interpretations.

Hi.. Is this phone comfortable when holding it to the ear? Some people say that the area near earpiece slightly hurts our ear when holding it to the ear? Is there such a problem?

We got xperia sp only hoping an... moreI do understand some people would want to get the kitkat update (move apps to SD card is a great feature), but please remember Sony did not promise in any form that SP will get kitkat, so i don't think it is right to blame them or even complain to them about this. they had set our expectation that it is only under investigation.
-newer phones even if it is low end, will of course get the latest software version so they can sell it. it's no use releasing a new phone with an old software, just think about it xperia s was release with Android OS, v2.3. sony xperia SL was released with Android OS, v4.0.4. newer phone always gets the latest software.

We got xperia sp only hoping android android kitkat,really for that purpose only i got this mobile.i already mailed you but no reply from you. Not only i am asking kitkat update whole sony xperia sp family is asking kitkat update with feature of moving apps to sd check out on every sites. This is how you cheat a people for money even Xperia E1 got kitkat update but not us. We waited many months for android 4.3 without recieving 4.2.2. First in the support page next version was android 4.4 and now it is in under investigation.if you not even able to give your promises then how the people will will believe in other products of sony and how they'll buy it even micromax has given 4.4 update even for their low end phones.I give it as a complaint, if you failed to release the software update I will not buy any sony products anymore and not recommend any sony product to people.
I definitely want a reply from or otherwise I will post this message in every blog and sites
Sony xperia sp lovers please email this or your ownword letter to sony.
Keep calm we will get kitkat update if you do this
