videos while playing in youtube buffers alot in my xsp whereas the same video plays smoothly in same quality as mine in my sister's ZTE Skate with same wifi signal. Is there any way to improve video playing in youtube smoothly? my youtube version is 5.7.38

I don't complaint about much of Sony because there is no point in doing so, first of all xperia sp touch is ridiculously worst when compared you sometimes have got to press slightly harder than Nokia, Samsung, etc,touch fail when kept on flat surface, in all updates it's present, if xperia is not coming up with needed updates sony is of no good,of course all android to be blamed,I always hated lumia, now I don't know why,may be it's better,lumia 920is going to get 8.1update,where as our mobile is soon going to be dumped off from update list, 8mp camera is capable of good shots,but update made it worst,I am happy that I said no one to buy this or any other sony handset after personally experiencing this 'once called beast mobile'.now it's charger port seems like positional and customer is the most worst of all,,is it possible to sue them In anyway, atleast help me with this.

author, 02 Jul 2014just want to know why we have to make a factory reset befor... moreYou don't need to reset your device after updation if reset is need its done automatically recent updates on sp were of build version which you don't need any reset. Reset option is given if there is virus or it hangs so much or some serrious option faced by u. Before updating u just need to back up your data in case it reset automatically u don't need to reset manually. Hope it helped

author, 02 Jul 2014i have this phone and im just confused with its specs. mine... moreIt always like that company gave u total 8 Gb device memory but u can use ony upto 5.something gb rest of memory is cosumed by preinstalled apps and data and so is ram 800 somthing is given from 1gb rest is used by oprating system belive me you have given enough my friend has s4 out of 16 gb only 8 gb is given. Call sony for more info hope it helped..

i have this phone and im just confused with its specs. mine has only 5.4 gb of memory and 4.3gb of it is usable. and the ram has only 840 mb instead of 1gb. someone plz confirm if you also got like this. thank you very much guys

I am also finding that same problem with my xperia sp.. The camera clarity.. The clarity of the camera is now a disappointment for most of the Sony users... After the update to. 205

X SP prices in india down by 5k in last 8 mths.
I bought from sony center for INR 22500 and now it is INR 17390
and X C is still INR 18990.. what rubbish.... due to unstable 4.3 update this has happened.
looks like now 4.4 is not going to happen to X SP due to such price drop.

AnonD-278000, 29 Jun 2014i need to buy phone at the same prise of sony xperia sp do ... morehmm... samsung galaxy s III 3G is a good alternative ( my sister uses it, when she open camera/apps/games it open them faster than my xperia SP ), Xperia ZR here in my country is almost priced the same with Xperia SP, google nexus 4 is also a good option if you can find a cheap one (normally in playstore if it is available in your country), those are the only phone that i can think of at the moment which are priced the same and are good alternatives for Xperia SP.

New Update 12.1.A.1.205 rocks on Xperia SP.
If any one have any problem.. Do it fresh install Via SUS or Full Reset.
