Those who are being suffered from bad pic quality, install ZOOM Camera (pro). Best camera app for non moving objects.
For moving apps use the stock camera app.

AnonD-277677, 29 Jun 2014i want to know is this phone good for gaming and any other ... moreGreat for gaming, Asphalt 8 runs flawlessly. Make sure after you buy it to update to Jelly Beam 4.3 (the .205 update, it is the newest) via PC companion with these steps:
1. Make a factory reset with checked option to delete all files.
2. Do the update
3. Make another factory reset with checked option to delete all files.
I have also imputed a 32 Gb SD card (only about 3Gb used so far though) and it is great. Antutu benchmark score 23600 - think of it as a phone better than Galaxy S3 and not that lower than Galaxy S4. The S4 actually has a lower 3D performance score, they both have the same GPU, but the Xperia SP runs it on 720p while the S4 on 1080p. But you won't notice a difference.
The battery is the best since I've started using touch phones. 2 days with wifi, browsing, light gaming, calling, etc. I think that the bad opinions about this phone is written by people who didn't do a "clean" update, as I described it at the beginning.
The sound loudness is not that loud and the camera could be better, even though the video recording is great. But overall I personally got a better phone than I expected.

I have updated my xsp to 205 few days ago but after update facing a problem of heating and battery drain. Please suggest me to overcome.

I have updated with 205 and the phone is a beast! The battery is a monster! Disable the stupid background data. This is all I have disabled so far and the phone goes 2 days without a problem, with wifi, browsing, gaming, calling, etc.
But before you update make a full factory reset with an option to delete all files, and one more after you update.
The phone flies afterwards. Cheers.

Battery Draining..... !
.205 fixed all the bugs and introduced a new headache, battery draining. Come on Sony. Fix this too !

At last May be I found the battery draining solution after doing some experiment...Now I am updated with latest 205...The main culprit for battery draining iz mediaserver..U will find it in battery usage section.....Now I am happy with my SP..It iz doing great :) ..Battery backup iz now awesome .To control this mediaserver I found some possible ways..I am sharing it....
solutions-------
# Stop touch tones and any kind of vibrations.
# Use xperia home screen.
# Use Greenify app to handle auto start apps. Just select all apps those it recommends to hibernate.
# If u use LTE version then use only GSM in network section.
# Force stop or Disable google services , google play store , location services etc from -->apps-->all.
# Setting-->more--->media server setting-->disable it.
# Disable nfc.
# Stamina mode On.
# Keep ur brightness as low as possible.
# Sleep time 15 seconds.
# Dont use any unnecessary apps.
Greenify app iz just awesome :).Usually it works great in rooted phones ..U will get the full service of this app in rooted devices..However mine iz not a rooted phone yet it iz performing itz best ..:)

Hi I bought this phone last week from a wholeseller I want to know does this phonereally if 1gbram it show only 766Mbeki available, my phone hangs a lot nd my phone battery draining so fast even after a fully charge. Nd stamina mode on!!!
Pls help me to fix this n give solution!!!
