In tipo i have a small problem tat when i send group sms, its showing message couldn't sent! Thn i have to go to thread and wanted to resend the message! Its irritating! Pls anyone help me!

Guyz checkout the ndtv gadget guru review for tipo on youtube which shows the screen is very very unresponsive and if you want a low cost ics phone and dont care the touch response then go for tipo

By reading the comments by tipo users i understood that the touch problem is not only in india and also in UAE and philipines and other countries and highest SAR value (no problem if you are ok with that sar value) these two are the major defects of tipo and choice is yours

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2012yes my touch is not working well, how can i get rid of thissome people have reported here that changing the launcher solved their problems. You can try a new launcher from the android market and see what happens.

I saw in one of your previous comments that you wanted to get the miro. Well let me tell you based on my personal experience that the miro is not very good. I played some games on it and some of them lagged. Temple run looked good but lagged(you will notice it only if you play it yourself), temple run brave performed very badly and I couldn't even take one turn even after 10 tries. I played a game named samurai something. It looked good and ran well but I had to push the screen hard to get the character moving. There was no lag but the touch screen was not so good. After using the miro I don't think that I will invest in the this one or the miro.

i agree with u ICS to JB is nt a big upgrade as such..but Jb is goin to b smoother definately..!!
but as of now u r getting ICS with entry level fone...its a nice thing..!!

Having used this phone for a while, I have had the full experience of it's capabilities. I can tell you that this phone delivers.
With it's great performance, plenty or RAM and powerful battery, running ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) is a piece of cake for this little droid.
The storage is 3.0 GB, but you get more than 2.5 GB usable space, if you delete some Sony apps for Asian market you get ~2.7 GB.
The camera is really fast, but the picture quality is just OK, probably because it's a Qualcomm model. All the Xperia phones have a Qualcomm camera. I would expect Sony to put something better in, but for now this is it. Better get a Nokia phone if you need a good/great camera.
You get a few Sony and non-Sony apps like the Xperia-Gallery, TrackID, QuickOffice, QR Barcode Reader, etc. The Xperia-Gallery is a great app, both for picture and video view. The phone comes packed with some Sony widgets as well.
You get all the software and drivers in the phone, so when you connect it to the PC everything will be prepared for file transfer, sync, backup, or the Android SDK.
All the 3D games that I have tried have run very smoothly, I have even played music in the background while playing.
The phone can play up to around 1080p, so movies with 1280x720 or more will be a bit slow. I have only tried this with MP4 files and played them with apps/viewers that came with the phone itself (Android gallery, Xperia-gallery). However, all high resolution Youtube videos run fine.
The GPS works great. It comes with the standard Google Android tools/apps like maps, latitude, distance, etc.
The phones screen is very viewable in sunlight with backlights which have to be turned on/off manually.
The battery with heavy-standard-mild use lasted 2.5d-3d-4.5d (days) and I always charged it at 15-9% which is when I got the battery warning (15%).
The battery can be charged via USB/PC or USB-to-adapter/power source.
The minus for me was that this phone, in my area, didn't come with any headphones.
Great phone for it's price range.

Oh Come on there are hundreds if not... moreThat's exactly why I made Galaxy Chat an example. Galaxy Chat is new in the market yet it's already having Jelly Bean. It don't take 6 months to make an update. In 6 months, a new version of Android might already be released. You want me to name devices running on Jelly Bean now, SG3 has Jelly Bean.
Jelly Bean is not a major update. It only improve the OS programming and not rewrite it. Think of it like ICS as XP SP2 and JB is XP SP3. They did not change the programming. It's more like improving it and fixing some bugs.
That's why I'm saying SONY is taking their time in the update. Imagine, Tipo was out first before CHAT. But chat now have JB but not a single word from Sony about JB for tipo.
I my self have high hopes for this phone. I'm planning to buy one. That's why I'm waiting whether JB will be released for this phone and hopefully will fix the touch issue and make it more fluid.
While regarding for the touch issue, I believe it's not just in India. I'm from the Philippines and there are also complain about it's touch. And considering it's full touch, the touch screen is one of the most important part.
Sorry if the bottom part is no longer part of your statement. I just want to answer the other post and making many post is kinda tiring while using a phone.

[deleted post]Touch problem here in UAE as well.. It was never expected from a Giant like Sony to come up such a problem since there's no lacking in the configurations of this phone...
