I m using Xperia-U, very awesome phone. I want to upgrade my phone, but I haven't received any message from Sony, do I need to wait till message or I can go to store for upgradation. And please also tell me what positive thing will happend after phone upgradation.

AnonD-113107, 15 Feb 2013I mean upgrade*Either you can approach service centre for it and if you are within warranty,they will upgrade it for free which i suppose is the safest way...alternately,if you have a fast broadband connection at your home,connect your phone to your pc or laptop for the first time using data cable,you will be prompted to install sony pc companion to your pc in your phone...give yes...this will install sony pc companion into your pc...later when the installation is complete after(you need internet here too),your phone will get connected to your pc...you will receive an upgrade notification saying you have a new software upgrade available for your phone with build number 6.1.etc...just give yes and your phone will be upgrade to v4.0 in about an hour or so...

I have tried that but as I have upgraded my software, lots of things 'changed' on my fone. I can only access Pico TTS through 'language and input' and then 'text to speech'. However, when I try holding down the button it won't switch off. I am at a total loss as what to try next.

It has good spec. But have a smaller screen size,camera quality not good,having problem in signal,but have dual core and novaThor chipst make phone smooth.
But have a best budget phone ever.
