worst SONY i ever had after SE Vivaz...on XPERIA U when somebody call me,i need to wait 10 seconds to see the number or the person on display,when i want to take i picture i need to wait few seconds...i updated to ICS 4.0.4,i do a restart after update,the same situation.Now i have another problems with my camera only inside when i want to record or take a picture,i see 2 yellow spots and a purple culour at all the image of display.Only the Walkman its a good thing from this mobile shit!Next phone:Galaxy S4,i will return on Samsung after SG2!!!

n360, 19 Jan 2013I've already upgraded to ics. so I gotta root my xu??Of course NOT. Rooting will only gain you administrative privileges like editing/deleting/replacing system files or using play store applications that require root acces.
Ex, you want to change bootanimation manually... you can't replace the animation without root access.
So, if you don't need these kind of stuff you DON'T need to root your phone. It doesn't help or fix any bugs you have. It's just access to "play" with your system files.

After a few milli-secs you will get a msg at the bottom(pan from left to right). There is a white rectangle in a solid black box. Just move the phone slowly from left to right(the white rectangle moves along with you). Once your reach the right end, the image will process automatically. You can access it form

i wrote a time ago regarding updating to ice cream and its crazy failure (even factory reseting few times) and touch being dead after 4 days after bargain, never had this kind of unfortune...then after 2 weeks in service, the touch was replaced but the dedicated mic was not active even the setting was done!
please! it seems that i must go again for 2 weeks in service and i dont want that...did anybody did a test like this http://youtu.be/6aVNNTB-uT4

Not that one shouldn't take sensible precautions, but no more than with any other phone, or anything more pointed than a golf ball.
