how do you close an app? If i hold down the home button, all open apps come up - but how do i close them? Please help

WaJih, 06 Dec 2012i do this everyday but still its says ur phone is up to dateIt all depends on your SI number, found underneath the battery - 8-digit number e.g. "1234-5678". Within one country there can be more than one SI number - for different networks, SIM-free, etc. If you google for your SI number and "ICS", you may find more information on if/when it will be released. Some networks potentially may not offer the update at all, since they must approve it before releasing to customers and having to support any issues arising.

My Phone is doing great after reset. But you know blank mobiles are bound to give better performance. The real test will come after few days when lot of data would be in the phone.

I have seen so many comments which is related with ICS update in xperia U. Me too was confused... will it really cause any problem after updating to ICS?!! well, truly speaking my ICS experience is amazing!! so many new features :)& smooth touch sense! Those who write about lag/cam/keyboard problem is nothing but bullshit. I recommend all to avoid those type of comments. But 1 thing, factory reset your phone before & after updating into ICS...love my XPERIA U

I have updated my xperia U. i knew how to take screen shots in GB..but after updating to ICS, i cant find any way to take screen shots :( . can anyone plz help me?

Come on sony atleast release a affordable dual core without any drawbacks. Sola was pretty but battery life is worst, this one does not have sd card slot. New phones have no dual core like xperia j.
