Dude i got a xu 2 weeks back and it just doesnt get hung whatever i do...battery is ok too(better than sola)...and all the features its just heartthrobbing...in simple words,its a bombshell...only concern is 8gb internal for some people.but for me its fine...sola is a great phone too,but misses out on front cam which is a big necessity now days...

Xperia J doesn't have any thing special except 4 inch screen
Xperia U is much better at display quality , dual core CPU , Mali 400 GPU , 720p video and USB OTG supporting
But if you want a good phone with bigger screen and good specifications , go for Galaxy ace 2 .....and also there is no big price difference

hi guys
how long does the battery backup last on your xperia U on a single full charge considering moderate usage??
(no wifi or bluetooth, brightness at d lowest, auto sync off)
does ICS update really improve battery
is there any way i could test the given battery in my xperia U for backup hours??(maybe a app or a test at the sony service center)
the phone is awesome but only the battery backup has been a concern:-(
sony should have really thrown in a 1500mAh battery
help wil be appreciated

the xperia U its a good phone looks and feels good, i like the display because have a good resolution for a 3.5" the only bad thing its the camera, good photos with light and bad photos with low light, my old xperia mini has better quality photo but in performance its awesome for the price you pay, in conclussion im happy with this phone

I am confused what to buy..
everyone is having different views..
shoud i go in for xperia u or sola or htc desire x...
m so confused... after reading all the reviews,the incedences of hanging, faulty behaviour of sony phones, is it true.. i really love the look of sola.. but bcuz it is overpriced and the after all reviews i am hesitant to buy it.. pls help me.. i have to buy it 2morro

I bought this phone 2 days back and I'm experiencing signal drop now.Had to restart the phone several times to gain the signal.I wonder what is the issue here.Feels so unfortunate right now.Other than that it's the best phone for that range of price.

AnonD-80530, 23 Nov 2012I bought sony Xperia U and downloaded many apps without upd... moreIf you do the simple ICS update, everything remains in place. Only if you opt for the factory reset (not the option recommended by the SUS update service) would it wipe anything. From experience, even if you do a full reset, it should remember what was previously installed and download it all again.

AP, 23 Nov 2012hi friends, m planning to purchase xperia u or j... pls sug... moreI have purchased xperia u last week. Everything is very good display is outstanding.touch is awesome.net speed is like swift
But there are to downfall
1.battery backup is not satisfactory
2. Loudspeaker volume is below than standard. I am exextremely disappointed with this. X loud speakers is making fool of customers
In short if u love listening to music on loud speaker then dis phone is not for u
Otherwise everything ok
