It is covered with plastic cover, many of us do not remove the plastic camera cover and face poor camera quality. Unfortunately, there is no indication in the user guide regarding this. Hope it will help.

tommywa, 23 Oct 2012Is the small screen size a major or minor issue???Depends, obviously. Although 3.5" it is narrower and taller than some others. I have quite fat fingers but mostly find it OK, and the sensitivity is good. You can opt to have a T9-type keypad in portrait mode, if QWERTY is too squashed. In landscape mode it's wider than most iPhones, so fine. Because the resolution is so fine, there's no trouble fitting web pages etc, and videos/photos look great (especially widescreen format). Overall, to me it's worth it for a device that truly fits in a pocket.

Hi.. I am working 3days per week in a rural area without power supply. I like so much xperia u and I want to use this phone without data usage and multimedia usage, only 30minitues call per day, and with inactive of bottom l.e.d strip using app like night mode or something. Under these conditions how many days lasts the battery? Frnds plz reply me.
