But on this date I would suggest go for S Duos because it has a bigger screen, bigger RAM. More sim cards. Expandable memory. Samsung trust in smart phone cataegory. One place where it is not as good as is its processor. Otherwise its an amazing phone. In India since the availaibility of S Duos, Sony Xperia U's prices have come down.

Something like http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration may help to get your 100% back - but requires a rooted device.
This one http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ignisoft.battery.calibration apparently does NOT require root, but the reviews are very mixed and it has unreasonable permissions.

1.works very slow

S@M, 22 Oct 2012What about SAR value guys..? Please help me about this..... moreFCC SAR is very average 1.09 (not illegal 1.62 as stated in many places) so no above-average safety issues. Battery is removable by design, don't worry.

don't buy this phone bcoz it is not the value of the money it have only 4 gb memory for user ,and a very bad look it have

What about SAR value guys..?
Please help me about this.. I am planning to buy a mobile and but i am more confused between galaxy s duos and xperia u.
i am worried about xperia u only coz of its SAR value and unremovable battery type.
Please suggest... is any one facing problem with your ears or headache due to this phone coz of its high SAR value

Hey guys i updated my Xperia U to 4.0 but im facing wifi problems i cant connect to the internet on my phone it connects then when i open any app like play store of google crome suddenly it stops working any1 facing same kinda problem ???

anomymous, 22 Oct 2012Hi guys, I bought this phone 3 weeks ago, I have one proble... moreIf data is turned on and you are outside range of your wi-fi, your phone will use 2G/3G data all the time even when it's in standby, and if your tariff doesn't include free data, you will be charged for it. It may not be that much data, but data charges are typically quite high, so it will drain your airtime credit quickly.
This is in common with all smartphones.

Hi guys, I bought this phone 3 weeks ago, I have one problem when I buy airtime, it just finished without you using it , I tried to use password thinking that maybe when on the pocket it just touches button and enter to internet but still the same.
Anyone who can help me will be appreciated.

Next month I'm go... morexperia u is a great phone which works without any lag and games work lag free. but if u encounter any problem in the phone then b ready to get it repaired not before 30days. my touch screen started behaving awkwardly and even though i hav submitted my fone on 1st oct 2012 to the service centre, i have nt yet got my handset back. so sony service sucks but the fone is fantastic.
