Much discussion about this already if you read down, but to save the effort, it's 2GB phone memory for apps and phone data (SMS etc), plus another 4GB that can be used with most apps and also used for additional data storage by apps (and of course also for personally uploaded mp3, video etc).

Most of the complain is about memory. Trust me, this phone can't handle hd game smoothly. The graphics performance of this phone is half of sgs2 and the 512mb ram is low that sometime the game just quit when it's out if ram. You better off installing another fun 3d games which will require around 100mb to 300mb at most.
The phone is good for its price. It's hard to find other phones that looks good, good specs while keeps affordable price tag.
Another thing worth mentioning, with 3rd party app downloaded from market; 'illumination bar', you can use the light bar as notification led which is very cool. (remind me of my old Nokia 3220)

friends, heard that the SAR level of xu is higher(about 1.6) which is a dangerous level.checked in internet and most of sites indicated that the value is 1.6.(Except in phone@rena they mentioned a lower SAR value).those who already bought this phone pls respond to this question...............

Dont listen to the critics out there.
I have this phone and I can tell you that this phone worth your money
-nice camera,sharp and clear
-Fast internet browsing
-Battery will last a day for moderate usage
-6gb memory is enough for me
This phone makes me contented to it,eye catching.
The problem here is the low louspeaker and heat if use while charging and playing games.
Buy this phone,you wont regret it
