However in the UK at least the headphones supplied are pretty cheap and nasty, which won't help with perception of the sound quality of the phone. I've seen unboxings from other countries that suggest some regions get better headphones as standard.

I realy like the phone so much...it has all the quality i need.....and i'm so disappoint with the no card slot...then how to expand the internal memory?...help me i'm chossing nokia lumia 610 and sony xperia U...whats the best phone i'm gonna choose?help me...

My goodness i was about to buy this phone and theres no card slot to expend the momery.....only 4GB internal....how sad...pls help me find smart phone....

I have Sony Xperia U and the audio quality with headphone is good. However, i'm sure there are other high end phones with better audio quality.(xperia u is a mid range phone).

Have been using this for one week now and I can say so far it's great. The best feature is the display, sharp and clear. Operation is very smooth, no lags. Battery lasts 2days with moderate usage. Sound quality is pretty good but not so loud on the loudspeaker. No issues with network or with wi-fi. Camera is good.
I cannot compare it with other phones because I havn't used any. This is my second phone and first android smartphone. The first one I used was the SE k510i for 5 n half years and still works without any problem with the original battery still lasts for three days. That phone built my trust on Sony Ericsson. So I continued with Sony.

and among so many Sony phones you have choosen some and started complaining? in this way u can actually bring out limitations of every cell phone!! if you don't like Sony go to other brands, who stopped you?

I feel it has a good sound quality(not loudness) especially the punchy bass...The only problem is the bundled earphones are not as good as one wishes 4

One of most worst thng of SONY i saw that, it always gvs a defect in everyphone. Fr eg-xperia U one of the sony's best phone but wid limited storage(only 4 GB internal nd no crd slot). Xperia neo L no bravia engine nd worst look in hands. Xperia J is having 4" scrn but wid no HD(1280x720p) recording or playbak. I wud recomend nokia or intel xolo x900.

Also this phone have signal drop problem.
One more very annoying thing i found in this phone is that the grid dots on display appear on screen while using the phone specially when the brightness is high if u dont believe me just type xperia grid dotted display in google and search i m not happy with my phone i hope my this will help u thanks..

i use xperia u and iphone 4g both phones both have 3.5 inch screen but why xperia u screen look smarter then iphone 4g or other 3.5 inch phones
