When taking photos in dark you might get full white pics. Remember to remove the plastic coating over the lens.after that reduce the exposure value to -1 or down you will get Nice pics without ruined by the flash.those who are unaware of this please test it by yourself

hi friends i have bought this phone about 15 days ago let me tell u what arethe good things in phone
                      1. great display no comparison. even dull pics will look awesome in the phone.
                      2. great performance everything works fine in the phone because of dual core 1gh pricessor
                      3. great look because of led strip in bottom.
                      4. good sound qualiti but not loud enough
                      bad things
                      1. irritating battery life it shuts down in 6hrs of moderate uses as it has dual core processor and led backlight my phone days 70% battery is using my display
                      2. low speaker sound
                      3. camera quality is worse in low light as flash makes the pics white
4.always worrying about the space(as this is not a issue its enogh but in the mind it alwayd there about storage)

AnonD-57252, 14 Sep 2012xperia u can last atleast 1day in minimal usage? i dont car... moreYesterday I used Xperia U for about 4-5hours - hard use (application downloading, testing, WiFi or Data all the time...), and I went to bed and when I woke up it was still 33% of my battery.
So I think battery is pretty good and also performances. Great!

I'm using this phone for two days. It is very nice.
But I have a few questions...
Which program do u use to kill applications? I like aplication on Galaxy mobiles
I tried Task Killer, is this ok?
And when I kill tasks it appears about 160-190MB memory free. Other memory is used by android itself?

                              Thanks for your answers!

AnonD-43136, 13 Sep 2012Also having GPS and location services on drains the battery. They do indeed, but not as much as might once have been the case. Not sure if it applies to all Androids, but the Xperia U is very good at only actually turning on GPS when it's actively needed (the icon will appear at the top when it's active). I leave it enabled all the time, for hardly any penalty in practice. Leaving Bluetooth on all the time will have more of a hit, since that is constantly on the look-out for other devices. All this broadly comes under "radio". Weak cell and/or wi-fi signals will still likely be the biggest contributors to consistently very rapid battery drain in this regard.
