And Is it a big deal for Nexus S not to have gorilla glass ? I mean can the screen be easily broken or scratched ?

Obviously, don't run the display any brighter than necessary. I'll say no more on that matter!
From day to day, strength of mobile/wi-fi signal will heavily affect it. Borderline reception will particularly clobber the battery, including if the phone needs to switch between 2G and 3G a lot (if you find the latter, set it to 2G except when you NEED high speed data).
Less often, runaway apps (Facebook and Music Unlimited in particular from experience) can get stuck using a lot of CPU and therefore drain the battery quickly when it's otherwise been quite frugal. An app such as Watchdog Lite is good for looking in more detail at what's "busy" at any time - inactive running apps should be using under 1% CPU.

I went for the XU because when I bought it it was far more cheaper than the GSA. Even though XU is a almost perfect phone but the lack of memory expansion will hit u one day. And u will also get a few more ram but the design, built quality, premium feel, distinctive look and support from developer community will not be there as it is not as popular like the XU.
