i bought this phone about 15days ago, and i must say i am very pleased with this phone, what shocked me was that this phone can handle most of the latest 3d games. Hats off to sony for making a powerful phone that at this price point. :-D

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2012it looks as it has a screen of less than 3.5 in. its it true?FAQ :) It's exactly 3.5" diagonal, but because of the 16:9 aspect ratio rather than 3:2 it's narrower (but taller) than iPhone, Galaxy Ace etc in portrait mode. In landscape, it's better suited for widescreen video than its competitors.

about ics, I think Sony should provide a better ics update Coz for their 2011 XPERIA series, after their ics update, now they are providing a update that may resolve their problem that occurred after the update!!!
so Sony knows where they are lacking!! and I m hoping for the best to come ahead!!!

I saw it in dialaphone, phones4u for £199 or less. There are folks on yt using the usb otg to play onlive with bluetooth xbox controller, AND you could also use the HDMI to connect it to a tv and play games on a tv also. Only some games are supported, like riptide, shadowgun and others. Most if not all snes emulator games work...without root.

personally if I was getting a new phone.....it would be easier for me to choose since I am owning a sgs i9000 and my partner has arc s. The web is faster on arc....which is quite nice. However the gpu in arc does not support games so well from android, as I see many users unhappy in the reviews of games at play store. I also notice that one of my favourite games "real racing" gets awful unplayable reviews from arc users.....and some other games. So, I would get a sgs i9000 from amazon at around £200 and do what I already do, and use the tv out lead to play games like asphalt 7 and modern combat 3. And mc3 is not supported by usb controllers anyway on arc s.

AnonD-30010, 22 Aug 2012I m on gingerbread 2.3.7 and I got notification of firmware... moreI hav updated my phone. only one thing chaged, that is I could see two different shade in my screen when the full page in yellow. now that problem is gone. another thing is the blotware I hav deleted reappeared again. dont know about battery life. it was fine before and is now too.
