spideyjei, 12 Aug 2012guys, can't decide between the xperia-u and xperia mini pro... moreI just bought it a few days ago
And to be honest, comparing this piece of art with mini pro is just like comparing .... I don't know, this phone is just great, superb, the only downfall is the absent of memory slot.

U is faster way faster
U camera is better
sound is the same but whn connecting headphones U is better
desing of u and with the illuminating bar made him one of the best if not the best in its range
but mini pro has a qwerty keyboard which make it more comfortable.
and mini pro is not strage limited although 8 gb in the U are more then enough.if u r oke with the touch(without keyboard)and a bit more money,then go for the U

this phone has an 280ppi display!!!
among the best in the price range!! and u r speaking this bullshit!
and even my eyes doesn't pains after using this phone for a longgggggg of time!

How many recent and modern phones are there with higher SAR (EU - Head) than this one?
You may not care much about the issue, that is your rightful choice, but a simple "copy-paste" of Sony leaflet will not counter the fact this is one of the worst phones (if not simply *the* worst) you could possibly get (in that regard) right now.
Do some reading about the subject and, most of all, use your mind rather than just "copy-paste" stuff without actually thinking about it.

As you can see, we use ICNIRP's standard which is slightly different from the one used by FCC. ICNIRP use a scale with 2W/kg as max, placing 1.62W/kg well below that.

My God! This cellphone is no good. I bought Xperia U last Thursday only. I've been using it for 4 days only and now the unit was suddenly black out the screen. The technician said it was program problem.So have to reprogram. I bet don't buy this model. I really thought SONY is very good in quality but not.!!!!

its battery is poor .lasting hardly one day without any use of any net work and media play.
does xperia s battery suport in xperia u ??

with in this range, u will find cons in every cell phone... or go for S3!!!
but this phone has a great charm upon its users!!

this phone is a pure class!
I have heard mixed expression of people whether to buy it or not! I have used it for a month and this is what I think-
this phone definitely worth your money! no doubt about it.! I bet that, its just u should know how to manage the phone!
with dual core, this phone works without any lags and disturbances! which, I think is the first preference of every user! and with impressive GPU, gaming experience is also great!
the display is just so good and very crisp.. and with its design and LED bar (which can be turned off) people would be jealous of your phone!! lol!!
and one of the best thing I feel about Sony, while download apps, even if there is no network or I turn my phone off then switch it on again then the downloading starts from where it ended!! and not from beginning!
now the features which could have been better-
1. storage- instead of purchasing this phone and complaining afterwards, people should analyse their storage requirement first and then take it, but with OTG support its not a issue for me at all.. (the phone gives internal storage of 2GB for apps and 4GB for media storage and 50 GB cloud storage service) and things saved in internal memory can be accessed faster so thats a advantage!
2.battery- for me, with proper management, battery lasts for a day.. which I think company should have increased a bit more! but still it manage it somehow!
3.sound- the quality of sound is quite good actually, but there are complains regarding the crackling sound issue and low speaker volume, which I too have experienced (but crackling sound can be heard only on few songs, not all) company should surely work on it!!! but about this issue, I saw posts which said that 'dsp manager' can solve crackling sound problem, so u may download a '.apk' file and install it and check if issue is solved!
