Till now,I didn't experience any problem.
I am a gamer and have many games installed in it.
Even fifa 12 works perfectly after downloading 1.1 GB of data,the most by any game.
Did not experience any lags till now.
Only one thing was below my expectation-loudspeaker.
It is very clear,but the loudness of a sony phone is not there.

It does not have any problem in mine.
Must also be dependent on the connection he has.
I have Vodafone,and have not experienced any problem till today.

I wish if there was someone who experienced this phone and told us everything about issues with this phone.
I don't know what to believe. One says the phone is perfect, another says the phone is just a crab.
One says there are not many issues with this phone(just a few minor ones), another says there are a lot of issues(with signal, camera, photos, upgrading it to android 4, etc.)
Please someone with enough knowledge about smartphones and of course, experienced this phone tell me(and everyone else) about the phone issues, phone speed(games, etc) to avoid confusing people.

OK man, I'll keep my expectation level at optimum. But I've heard that this phone even has issues with normal things which even a simple phone can do it perfectly! For example problems during calls or even inability to making calls. Also problems with Wi-Fi connections, signal dropping(one of the major issues that make me worry), or even errors while using camera. So if you've tested this phone why don't you mention issues instead of mentioning things that I already knew? You just keep mentioning phone specifications, or its advantage; but never mentioned these major issues(if I've heard true). Then if you have not tested this phone please don't talk nonsense and pretend as if you have. I'm sorry for my insult, I know you wanted to help. But I'm sick of hearing the same thing all the time.

my truthly expe. r so good nice clearty,fast net working,and good game application play,stylist looking for new generation.but one problem r battery backup,it working continiue 3 to 4 hours.

Hey guys.When I was reading comments, I noticed one of the guys had said that this phone doesn't run NOVA 2, modern combat 3 and dead space. Anybody tested these games on this phone? Is he/she right? The only reason that I want to buy this phone is for playing the games above! Pleasssse if you've tested these games on xperia U, answer me.

I bought my Xperia U just last month,(June 2012) and until now I am still amazed by the speacial features and applications it has..The OS is almost the same with the Samsung Galaxy SII,but you can also download some applications just like in iphone and Galaxy S3.Too many games I already downloaded,maybe around 15 games but its still working too fast. Downloading from wifi is also fast.I think this is really a very good phone for you to have.

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2012I wish if there was someone who experienced this phone and ... moreMan first of all keep in mind that its a mid range phone. so keep your expectations level at optimum. Let me try to clarify your confusion. In my view Xperia U is one of the best mid range phone in this range. Its main features that I considered while buying this phone are:
1. Dual Core processor
2. Front facing camera (in addition to the conventional back camera of 5MP)
3. 512 MB RAM (enough to avoid irritating lags for a mid range phone)
4. Good screen resolution (again in mid range)
5. Good looks (looks sophisticated)
Lets compare it with the competition. HTC One V has single core processor and does not come with front facing camera and that is also bit costly. Galaxy Ace 2 is good but again costlier and old fashioned. Xperia Ray is old and smaller. Neo V has very limited internal storage. Arc S does not have a front facing cam.
Now some drawbacks of this phone are:
1. the screen is not as wide as other 3.5" screens available in the market (e.g. Iphone, Galaxy Ace)
2. Somewhat Limited internal storage (Well for me 4Gb is enough though)
3. Battery backup is not long enough (you can cater to that upto some extent by keeping GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth off while not needed. Further Live wallpapers also drain battery faster)
Rest depends upon personal preference. Brands and priority for individual features.
