does it make any difference since this phone doesnt support divx format and is it able to play all online video formats?

few questions related to u.
1.is xperia u having 4gb for media+2gb for apps or 2gb for media and 2gb for apps.
2.while installing games is the sd data file is stored in 2gb app memory or in media memory.??
3.can we move apps to media memory via app2sd.

I wish if there was someone who experienced this phone and told us everything about issues with this phone.
I don't know what to believe. One says the phone is perfect, another says the phone is just a crab.
One says there are not many issues with this phone(just a few minor ones), another says there are a lot of issues(with signal, camera, photos, upgrading it to android 4, etc.)
Please someone with enough knowledge about smartphones and of course, experienced this phone tell me(and everyone else) about the phone issues, phone speed(games, etc) to avoid confusing people.

if u done wit 6gb memory u won't regret it. doing very well after one month

touheed, 16 Jul 2012phone feature is good but memory is too poor.......:)You can use your pen drive/flash drive via OTG cable for extension of memory..

my friend bought this phone and tried to upgrade it to 4.0 and the phone crashed! that was two weeks ago and its still in the shop.

runs shadowgun nova 3 dead trigger(the one they released for tegra 2 running on u but not on ray)
asphalt 7 will be supported
but still main issue u can have max two big games and ur memory fills up
do you know way to root the 2gb given for apps and use it to store media

Hey guys. Anybody tested HD games on this phone?
(I mean HD games around 1GB size). If you've tested HD games on this phone, please answer the following Questions:
1)Isn't there any problem with this abnormal screen resolution?(since I've only seen 800×480 not 854×480)
Does in require individual games or it supports all games which require Mali-400MP GPU?
2)How about speed? Does it run games on OK FPS(frames per sec)?

Hey guys. I know this question is a bit crazy but, anybody can tell me that if it's possible to store games data on a Flash Memory instead of phone internal memory using USB On-the-go?(I mean for playing games not just storing it!). 'cause most of HD games require about 1GB free space and it's too much for this phone.

Need to know if xperia u works with dead space, shadowgun, nova 3 and dead trigger. I've got live walkman and it plays all of the above except dead trigger as madfinger didn't test it on Sony erricson phones. Dont comment if you havnt tried them as the xperia u uses a,different chipset to live. Is,there any lag? Also heard that xperia u screen is narrow. Is it as narrow as xperia ray?

asterix, 16 Jul 2012You better check what others say on xperia blog, and see ho... moreI have experienced no significant issues with this phone. Battery backup and low sound are (minor) issues. What should one expect within $200? Also please dont go comparing this phone with Iphone as some just did. It is simply 1/3rd of Iphone's price. the issues like signal drop, wifi etc which some users are bragging about are related to their particular handsets. There are no big issues with this phone. Xperia U is one of the best mid range droids.

Flashlight needs an app, I recommend LED Lamp:

Doesn't track your GPS location or intercept your text messages etc just to light the camera LED. I don't think there are any other apps as no-nonsense.
