You better check what others say on xperia blog, and see how many issues there are with it. Of course if you don't expect much, you'll be happy with it. Issues with audio sound level, with photos, battery (you can't use it shutting down all apps just for saving battery life, Samsung and HTC don't do that), 3G and signal etc etc. So read some threads before wasting some money. I wish I did.

I bought Xperia U 3 days ago & it's actually a perfect smart option. But my previous phone was Xperia ray. With the time difference between this 2 & options I am totally proud to say I had Xperia ray too. Xperia U has a problem of freezing as said before also. eventhough Xperia ray got 8MP camera U's 5MP camera is gives perfect images and perfect color quality( I feel it's acual color quality which our eyes get from background). by the way if you guys prefer altogether 6GB useable memmory This is a truly amaizing mobile.

My anyone tell me how i can edit contacts saved in my SIM? I have imported contacts from SIM successfully but I want to delete some of them to make room for others. I just cant delete them. Phone contacts are easily accessible but how can I edit SIM contacts?

I have been using this phone for 3 days now and I find it absolutely fabulous. Its very fast, compact and beautiful. Battery drains out pretty quickly but one can adjust with one minus along with so many pluses. I have been using Galaxy Ace before. Admittedly, Samsung phones are easier. Touchwiz definitely makes things a lot less complex. But this phone is miles ahead in terms of responsiveness and speed. So far I have not experienced any lags even while playing heavy games. In fact it would be unfair to make such a comparison because Ace is 1.5 years old phone. This kid is new and powered with dual core processor. This is definitely the best avalilable option in this price range. Beats all competitors including HTC One V, Arc S, Neo V, Ace 2 and poor Nokias. I only wish the screen was bit larger. Overall 8/10

previously i used live with Walkman and i just sold it few days ago. now i'm thinking to buy xperia u as because the specification is best around 18k, but the internal memory is too low and can't support sd card. i used 16gb card on my lww. what can i do with 4gb only? is there any way to increase memory? plz help....

Hi guys, bought this phone 2 weeks ago. My only concern was the memory size, the 4gb internal memory for personal use is plenty for me as I only have music on it (275 songs) which uses around 0.75gb, so really unless u want a lot of music on ur phone then 4gb should be plenty. It's important to know that there is an additional 2gb of memory specifically for apps, so really there's enough memory for a phone.

The touch screen is excellent, very responsive and clear. For texting as its android you can have either the qwerty keyboard or the keypad, this was a big point for me as I don't like the tiny keys on the qwerty keyboard. I was thorn between an iPhone and a Sony, the main thinks for me were how good the touch screens is as the keypad for texting.... So the Sony u was a winner.

Now that I've had the phone for 2 weeks, I couldn't be happier, I think this phone is excellent. It's nice to hold, looks great, is lighter and all round everything matches up to an iPhone.... For half the price! Its a no brainer.

Couple of points to note 'WHEN U BUY':
                    - there's a protective cover on the camera lenze, take it off or pictures won't be clear.
                    - to save battery, go to settings... Wireless & networks....wi-fi settings....press the options button, I.e the dot on the right above the clear strip....advanced, then change 'wi-fi sleep policy' to 'when screen turns off'. This will stop wi-fi working in the background when the screen is black.
                    - if you don't want the phone to use ur data allowance automatically when there's no wi-fi (I.e. to save ur credit) in wireless & network settings.... Mobile networks, unstick 'data enabled', then when u do want to use ur data allowance switch it on.
                    - download a flashlight app, handy and surprising its not already there, a handy app

Most of the games except EA or GAMELOFT requires only less than 10 MB.

Can anybody honestly tell me how Xperia U/Sola perform with ICS?I dont seem to find any related videos to have an idea.My friend has a xperia neo v which performs very bad with ICS because of 512MB RAM.So does the dual core really make up for the meagre 512MB RAM or not by much? Thanks in advance

I myself has live walkman and also w902 that has clear bass, and w902 still lot better than live walkman through headphone.. testing both via mw600 BT headset.. pretty dissapointed with live walkman in term sound quality through headset IMHO as ICS upgrade doesn't change anything.. well yeah.. through built in speaker it does a lil bit louder..

A sd card slot should have been included. 4 GB won't be enough for many people..
