i have been using this for 2 weeks
here's my review
Body
-average, not too thick and not too thin.
-the weight is okay not heavy.
-the phone can stand lol (very useful when you use timer for camera)
display
-the screen is very smooth
-the 3.5" inches fits for me (easy to hold and fits in the pocket)
sound
-loudspeaker is not loud enough. but you can download app Music Volume EQ. it makes the speaker better and louder.
-the sound quality is average :|
memory
-2gb for application is enough for me. i have more than 80 applications & games and i don't know what application to install again. i still have 1.38GB available space.
-4gb for music, video, picture etc is... enough if you don't want to put many videos and pictures.
data
-gprs is good
-wifi is good, but i can't connect to some wifi (maybe b'coz the wifi not the phone:P)
-bluetooth is not that good for me, when i want to transfer songs to my friend, it often failed.
-usb, it's difficult to connect to the PC for me. sometimes it can't be detected but finally can T_T
-the USB On The Go isn't included in my package :( so i must buy again ...
camera
-not like what i expected :( but that's my opinion
-it has front camera, you can narcissistic anywhere
battery
-never hold more than 1 day (moreover i ever charged it twice a day)
i'm a little disappointed because it has many small problems. small but many T_T

AND A OUTDATED PROCESSOR AND GPU!!!
i went to sony store to check out ics on arc s they told me and i quote "we wont upgrade it to ics coz its outdated hardware and no one's buying it in our store"
better choice wud be to shell out more and buy a xperia p

btw....how is the message typo on ... morescreen width is 4.3 cm(because it has a16:9 ratio) so initially it can seem a bit small but after u get a hang of it typing is easy and alphabets on keyboard are well spaced
width of each alphabet on keyboard is .4 cm which is

How good is the music through the headphones? Is it loud ? Is it clear? Whats the sound like in comparison to the se live walkman? I understand the U has customisable graphic on its walkman app. As for xperia arc s yes it's more powerful but single core meaning the U should be able to cope with more apps running at the same time. Remember arc s was a flagship and the U was never meant to be one. In UK arc s is fifty pound more than the U as well so you pay for what you get. Anyway I need info on music player as im looking for a suitable replacement for my live walkman. So all replies will be read and be appreciated. Thanks!

users pls give ... morego for arc s I have both the phones and seriously xperia u is under perfomence against arc s u can get arc s for just 18300 INR dont buy Xperia u You will regret

nothing to say bout my xperia u..
very smart phone frm sony..don't believe to others negative opinion bout this phone..
works great.the display,battery life,and the browsing..and of course the camera..

Hi friends i need information about XPERIA U, have no micro SD slod, so may i use micro usb for extent memory??

Bought a couple weeks ago - worked perfectly for a weekend then started chronically overheating. Now, screen turns itself off then refuses to come back on, even though music keeps playing/ light comes on! Will be returned in next few days. Anyone else have similar problems?

Before buying it check the sony blogs and see what are the complaints. Photos low quality, updates issues, low audio level in video recording and sound recording etc etc. The soft and updates are pretty much a mess. So read carefully.
