To all people who complain @ the memory that is not expandable : u can buy a microusb to usb adapter , and a card reader. Problem solved with less than $10.

4 GB is fine, you are not likely to play 500 songs and 100 games when leisure time.

If it has 8 gb eMMC flash memory it should has another internal memory space (ROM) because it's not possible to store linux base apps if the flash memory is in FAT format. Or maybe it has 8 gb flash memory + 512mb RAM + 8 gb ROM (up to 4 gb user-accessible). Have a look at here

sucha pretty cool looking phone with 3.5 inch screen...perfect for me! but just only 4GB internal memory with NO SD card slot??? that's disappointing!

its no longer 16gb! now they've changed it to 8gb.....but then wat exactly is emmc? if emmc is 8gb why wont the user get to use upto 8gb?

You can download playstation games to this phone and I calculated that the 4 GB would fill up with 2 playstation games and 200 songs on top of that. This is ment for entertainment usage so 4GB is low.

Since the phone isn't going to have an expansion slot sony should have expanded the memory size to 8gb. I see this phone not being considered 2yrs down the line.
