Hey guys.please help me out.can u please tell that did any one of u faced any kinds of problems with this handaet or were there any kinds ov faults in this handset.i wanna buy this fone but unfortunately in my country sony doesnot give warranty on this handset,so i wanna b sure that there is minimum chance ov any problem in this handset.plz help me.should i buy this phone.thanx in advance

The xperia U is an excellent device for the price, the screen is amazing(the resolution and clarity of Bravia Display is incredible)very good for videos and also for games, the dual core CPU is fast enough and don't face any problems with accelerometer, proximity etc.,the WI-fi hotspot works well.
The main complain is about slot card memory which compromises storage only 4GB is not enough.
The sound is superb like any Sony device.
The 5MP camera is pretty decent.
The battery is average, if you use 3G, you have to charge it every night, if you begin the day with 100%.
Take care with updates to ICS(on this days), in various forums, important Camera lagging has been reported after update to ICS, making it almost unusable, think well before update.
Only complain I can't still update to ICS, Sony please make a fix for the Camera problem, and the slot card absence.

snoop, 17 Mar 2013I am really confused which I should buy Xperia Miro or Xper... moreyou should buy the Xperia u bcoz it has a very good camera quality and its design is also nice it looks cool in the hand and its tranparent strip is very nice and good looking.hd games run very fast on it and it never lags until its upgraded to ics.its the best phone

People who have used this phone for a bit longer time please let me know is this phone durable??should i buy it??does this phone have any problems for.eg phone heating up ,signal dropping,call dropping,wifi disconneting by itself,and phone hanging etc??please reply to me ,urgent.thnx.

1 GHz Dual core(Mali 400) but unable to play 1080p mkv,mp4 etc with & without h/w decoding , but iPhone4 1 GHz(A4 Chipset)is palying 1080p mkv,mp4 very smoothly wiht h/w decoding ..

Hey frndz..i hav already bought dis cool xperia u..bt i cant use it as im in hostel n phone is at home..my dad told me dat it's android version is 2.3 gb..is there any problm to upgrade it to ics 4.0??
