flashing red border..first you need to remember the last application did you install,you need to uninstall it.. my xperia v I uninstall my simple mp3, i dont know but when i uninstall it, it back to normal.. maybe it is not good to our xperia v..maybe...but try it..

Rrr, 11 Feb 2013Emailed sony and they told me this phone wont be sold in th... moreI am on Three so yes everything working perfectly so buy a unlock Sony Xperia V smartphone on ebay from UK reseller if I would you not SGBest or other online retailer abroad as I have fork a £76 for tax as well. He should work with any network no problem.

Xperia V User PH, 10 Feb 2013A minor issue with the battery life. I bought it from ebay ... morewhen did u get the phone? now in eBay it costs 485$. so that's something around INR 27000! not 18800!

Keep us posted, hope you will tell us if SOD strikes. I am currently on the fence for this phone because of the SOD issue. I will get Xperia Z when its available but want to try out V as well, would be best if i used V a month or so before i get the Z but now time is running out.

Emailed sony and they told me this phone wont be sold in the UK :-(
If i buy it unlocked online, do you know if it will work on Uk networks? (EE, o2, virgin, etc...)

had this phone a week it was ok but now have flashed jelly bean on to it and the phone is now amazing
phone is faster as is data speed no sod battery seems better and flash player plays no trouble at all

I come from a long line of htc,last one is sensation, and it takes some time to adjust. The response of v is super, and apart for lack of speed dials and not very inspired widgets for contacts is super for people that will use in all conditions. This is just after 2 days of use

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to ask a fellow Xperia V User from the Philippines if they have received the much awaited Jelly Bean Update..
It is a great phone by the way. Been using it for a week and no SOD. Battery is not at all bad.

I have this amazing phone for a month now.. luckily, I nver experience the so called "screen death" or watso ever haha.. evrything is great but I must agree with others about battery life issue. but nevertheless, im satisfied and had no regrets choosing this phone.. :-) CHEERS

Synonymous, 05 Feb 2013I tested mine in pool however, I cant press the screen duri... moreYou from Scandinavia? No SOD there? i had sis issues on htc desire z some years ago. It's not a good thing for sure but Ok on a HTC stone they are so full of flaws that they don't work anyway.
Jelly bean is available for V now, in Scandinavia and Baltikum and other euro countries as well. Anyone here already install it?
