I'm using XV for more than a month now and I haven't experienced the Sleep of death issue. Maybe the issue is on specific regions only.

dd, 02 Feb 2013go for sl .almost same specs and very less in priceXperia SL is a Good Phone But CPU Graphic is Scorpion & U Can't Eject SD card (Bad for Transfer Big files to phone like HD GameData files)
but Xperia V have CPU Graphic Krait (Newer & Better) & Ejectable SD card.
if I wanna Cancel XPERIA V , i will buy Xperia TX.

I Have Indent Xperia V .But Now i read in internet BAD ... moreHi BestDay, some xperia v units DO suffer from the 'sleep of death' bug, but not for my unit. Sony just said that this is a 'top priority' problem that they are trying to fix. For the 'bad camera' bug, i'm not sure what is that as I have never heard about it before.
In conclusion, I think that you should not cancel the indenting of xperia v, as it is a really good performer overall. other than the battery life, I am really satisfied with this phone and I have no regrets of buying this phone. Hence, you should not cancel the indenting of this phone
