        tnx bro..
I dont need higher GPU on Internal Memory .. I can manage it . So ill go for Xperia V .. Slim .. Cute design ..

My friends told me to buy an apple or sammy products .. But im a sony fan since cybershot or wlkman phones ..

Samsung - very common .. My niece have it .. Im telling you guys .. Within a 20 to 30 minutes(playing games only) the surface of the phone heated at 50deg.(not exactly) too annoying for me ..

        Iphone - boring hahahaha

ill go for Xperia V .. Hope this beast fits my needs .. Tnx

Johnpinoy, 16 Jul 2013Hi guys im planning to buy a new phone this comming aug.... moreHi,

Your choice would slim down in just between V and SP. The only advantage of TX over V is the internal storage 16gb vs 8gb, the rest of the specs V is superior over TX. Let's go to V vs SP:

          1. Display - both utilizes the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 display but V has more PPI 342 vs 319 over SP, plus V sports an OptiContrast panel and sensor-on lens technology with SP doesn't. Screen size is 4.3 V vs. 4.6 SP.
          2. Internal Storage - both 8gb
          3. Camera - 13mp V vs. 8mgp SP. (front camera is both VGA)
          4. Chipset - both model uses Snapdragon Krait processor.
          5. GPU - Adreno 225 for V vs Adreno 320 for SP (obviously SP rules in GPU)
          6. Clockspeed - 1.5 gh for V vs 1.7 gh for SP.
          7. Battery - 1750mah V vs. 23000mah SP
          8. Features - V is water and dust resistant. SP has unique feature at the bottom jusr like the Xperia S.

          Now you decide.

jhags, 15 Jul 2013My battery is now at 22hrs at still have 50+% left. Regular... more 3G has a higher battery drain, however, it actually uses less Watts per downloaded Kilobyte compared to 2G. 3G is much better for heavy data usage, and will not use much more battery if the 3G signal is strong. If the signal is poor or fluctuating, however, it may drain the battery as
much as twice as fast compared to 2G. Talk time is considerably less than 2G, however, standby drain is about the same. Overall, under typical conditions in suburban areas, you should expect about 2/3 of the 2G battery life.

I'm sort of a techie and I suggest you should update your device to .140 coz it fixes all the bugs found in .490 like SOD and delay in track when phone is locked in walkman app. Unfortunately, for me my phone is locked with Smart carrier so it takes decades to reach the latest firmware to my device. After all Xperia V is great phone and I'm currently pairing it with Sony SBH20.

                                  Hi all,

Any Filipinos out there who already received the firmware 9.1.A.1.140 or 9.1.A.1.142? I'm still stuck with 9.1.A.0.490 which has some bugs and my phone is locked with Smart Communications.

                                  Any kind advice?
