hi, i'm planning to buy this phone next month. I'm from the Philippines, has anyone here bought this phone from HotGadgets? Are the units okay?
The only thing stopping me from buying this are the complaints about SoD and I am wondering if this issue has really been resolved.
Btw, I have the option of buying this for 13200 with store warranty and 16500 with Sony warranty, which would you suggest? Thanks.

hi i want to update the firmware version of my V, can i do it without connecting the pc? if yes how long it would take to update on a normal gsm network? and how its gonna proceed? i just click update and it will download the 20mb file and then update itself? please explain
