the only issue with this handset is that for 50 uk pounds more you can get htc 10.

But somehow they optimise their software for good battery life. Even SONY have done a good job with their power saving modes but if they give some extra battery power in all their phones( that can't be too hard) they'll lead the others in battery life.
Never considered any LG phone ever except the Nexus 5. You're right about their build quality and battery pathetic but cameras tend to be good though. And sad to know SONY again let down on the camera deptt, despite the huge sensor.... Anyways all in all a great option for buyers! Thanks again.

I am due an upgrade in July and currently have a Samsun... moreDude x series are better than z in every thing, but in battery z5 is better a little bit, if there is no big deference in price or you don't care about money, go for x, either if you want 4k vedio recording which I personally not interested in.

Hi. I am due an upgrade in July and currently have a Samsung s4 on EE (UK). Looking at coming away from Samsung and getting a Sony as I have had nothing but Samsung for years. My choices are either the standard Z5 or the Xperia X. Would anyone have any recommendations? I know this X seems to get slated a lot but I'm not one for gimmicks such as 4K etc. I basically use it for general use and nothing special. Both phones look great to me but was just wondering if I could get some input as I don't want to make the wrong decision and get tied into a 24m contract. Thanks : )

In low light conditions the photos have a bit of noise and sometimes on isuperior setting too much post processing. I'd say is a very good camera but not a leader on the market.
It depends what's most important for you. If having the best camera is a must I couldn't recommend this phone. The again, when I look at the market these are my views:
-apparently Galaxy S7 has a good camera but Samsung has botched the software. This means your phone is sluggish and slow sometimes and yes slower than Xperia X with an inferior processor inside...
-Lg G5 would have a superior camera but I just don't trust LG. they are not consistent in quality and this one in particular has build quality issues(please look into it). Also, the form factor is different. It's considerably chunkier, wider and longer than Xperia X without offering much extra screen in return - not great.
I don't know any other phones having a superior camera from what I read in tons of reviews.

But It's criticized Everywhere for its Sky High Price.
