Why would sony make x performance if x already superb??? And less power consumption, it seems x much better than x performance.

But I really want to know about the camera. You see what your saying is 100% correct. Many other companies use SONY sensors, there is no doubt they make the best sensors and lenses, the problem has always been camera software. Oversharpening,noise in low light, bad panoramas, dynamic range problems are always there. You cannot get around these as they are firmware problem. No camera app can resolve. On xperia phone itself, they somehow always appear good.But on a computer screen, that's another story. You can always compare in the gsmarena compare tool itself. But it would be great knowstraight from a user like you, but unbiased. SONY sound is almost always good.true, but batterylife I have always found doubtful.SONY screens are always very bright, but contrast is never too good. Then again updated are too slow and unsure! Good to know that you found most things great with this phone, maybe they have a winner here. Hope SONY's lucky this time... :-)

Their phones are not bad dear, not at all.... but, I expect SONY phones yo be so much more, every single feature or spec their phones turn out to be just about OK ,never excel in anything!I miss the SONY ericsson era, all phines were standout, even the cheapest ones...always interesting- Walkman,Cybershot etc. Now,its like they have a checklist-good but not great processor-check,average camera-check, good enough screen-check,average battery-check,design n looks- why bother to change? The fans are buying anyway...Noneed to be the best at anything!!! even the reviews say that their only innovation to include the fingerprint reader in the power button is quirky at best, imagine a leftie trying to use it! You can't really recommend SONY phones nothing stands out,apart from looks, which again are getting a bit dated....I pray for a miracle for SONY!!

Sony phones are the best.
But the waterproof issue....well, isn't that good.
Xperia Z1, 2 weeks old....immersed in the pool and it sank!
Xperia M4 Aqua....same trouble....in the pool, sank!
So....very good phones, but KEEP OUT OF WATER!

gaaron, 18 Jun 2016The horrible i read about sony x is its overprice lol that... moreOne advantage that I just realized is that if you break screen glass of your Xperia X, you can still use your mobile (same as Samsung and iPhone) but you can not use your Xperia Z5c in such case because the touch grid is embedded with your screen glass.

On the performance, I read some horrible reviews about X and it appears as if people are not very happy with this new phone as they were with Z5c.

If you want it louder connect a Bluetooth speaker or external speaker, it will blast everyone away.
