Don't you get it? That's the problem. Even though both phones measure at pretty much the same temperature, the Sony one thinks that it's overheating. Clearly the so-called 'overheat control' by Sony isn't working as well as intended.

But ultimately there IS a problem. Whether it's software or hardware one, it still matters. It's really quite unacceptable that Sony decided to half-as$ its flagship(s).

First of all he said repeatedly that x camera is overheating then he tested the temperature of both devices and they were similar at 40, then he insisted that x camera is overheating lol, secondly their is an application in all sony devices called 'overheat control' so when the device becomes overheated it some times dim the screen and restrict hardware performance and decrease charging speed.... To prevent phone from damage, so the problem here is the main camera security system is very sensitive but it shouldn't be, so the problem here is software.

Everybody is talking about the price, if that rumor about 400 bugs fix and the ability to send applications to sd card happened i don't think it is overpriced.

This is very good phone people. Search in youtube. It is mid range phone with 3GB ram but outperforms many flagships with 4GB ram. Wow it is super. Because Sony phones are well optimised. Remember that and go for Sony...

It looks Sony managed to make this phone overheat while 1080p recording. And they priced it as expensive as other flagships. Pathetic.

Battery is the problem with all modern technology. I don't think you can say Sony is at fault.
However as users we can also do little things to increase battery life. Primary one being if we think the phone will not be used for a few hours or we are going to be to busy to answer any calls/messages then turn data off, or put into flight mode. Little things like this will aong with doze get you extra hours for when you are actually using it.

At first I thought this phone is too overpriced for the specs that it has , but the snapdragon 650 is optimized so well that it can beat phones like the s7 in day to day use . if 650 is doing so good I cant wait to say how the 820 will perform on the x performance
