After the very last update, I feel my cellphone works well, no lag ,no ambient sensor problem, but the battery is drained too fast! Even in standby mode. I've checked the battery usage in setting and found that "phone idle" and "Android Os" devour the battery
I need to charge battery 2 times a day.
Sony , solve the problem please 🙄

My opinion about Android 8 on this device: The camera did not improve the quality but if the speed in the interface and capture. The sound through the headphones sound higher I would say at an average volume and that is excellent compared to before I had a very low output. The battery gives me the impression that it is the same without changes. The animations are slower, it feels slower in the application drawer. Automatic brightness works faster. The miracast does not work well on my Blu-ray which before the update worked fine. It no longer heats anything. In general, the update has been positive.

Android Oreo is very experimental, so it has a few issues but those will be fixed with updates over time. Be patient.
