It's probably the march security patch and/or bug fixes.
So I recommend it.

Surficial, 13 Mar 2017I tried to find one that wraps all the way around the back ... moreI think mine is different....In the meantime I covered sides, the guy made a single piece of skin on back and sides too.... the result is just awesome. It feels firmly, like a different phone. I have chosen a different skin, more grippy, tried to take a photo but the result is really better in real. See it here:

It also protects the back from scratches and fingerprints but I don't care too much about this. Be careful when you stick it, it should be exactly in the middle. I found a guy who cut them with some laser machine, I am analyzing the possibility to cover the sides too lol.

Bought this after Galaxy A3 2017 and I'll stick with it, it's a good nice phone.
Pro:
- decent compact size (could be a bit smaller though)
- decent camera, good performances, radio, memory etc
- usable with one hand, see above.
- Nice features: photo button, screenshot on power button etc.
Against:
- no amoled but good screen. The difference is when you look from angle, like when used as gps in a car.
- No water resist but it may be ok at splashes.
- needs a carbon fiber skin on back for better handling, it slips a bit.
- total lack of corners not an advantage at handling.
When you hold it it looks nice, in pictures looks more like a brick.

S... moreOK, that may be true for your good self, but mine does come with the 410 as this is the only Sony device I own. I bought my X Compact from southeast asia. Thanks for confirming the problem, unfortunately I do not own a time machine to follow your advice. :-). It's cheaper to buy a new pair at this point... Looking forward to the XZ Compact! (hopefully with less top/bottom bezel)

However, I also have a pair of MH410c, about a year old, and they started having the same problem with the rubber band. You just need to handle them gently.

Note:- for all sony xperia smartphones users or who want to upgrade their phone from other brand to sony brand please use clear bass function to enhance bass only with earphones or headphones connected(for best music listening experience)

for all, who have problem with bass or lack of bass in sony phones, please use clear bass function to enhance the bass requirements it works on all sony xperia smartphones, after all sony is no.1 in sound and music quality.
