They are selling good, mostly their flagship series which is making profit for them, innovating on all aspects of their phones along the way...

Avand Rd, 14 Mar 2016Other vendors also release new phones every six month. But ... moreAll I see "innovative" of samsungs flagship is the return of features of waterproof and sd card, and camera is lower quality than S6.
Lg G5 is innovative though, but just because of modality functionality, second camera only there for a wider field of view, camera also seems not to live up to the G4.
Although it is an ugly device, and that modality doesnt seem to be user practical in any way, I salute their courage to offer sth different, though unpractical.
Now, Xperia Ear is sth any user would actually benefit from...
And midrange X series bring everything a user needs in a phone, at top quality, depending on their budget.
For flag features there is z5 line...

It has far superior spec to the brand new X Series.

Sony is the only manufacturer that is ALL about Quality of Mobile Xperience and NOT Quantity of mobile sells.
Sony Mobile CEO stated the fact quite clearly...
Sony is aiming to be the most Premium mainstream brand, not the cheapest brand, nor the most selling brand...
And newly announced X series of powerfull midrangers with polished out user oriented UI, coupled with innovative Xperia Ear gadget is their way and vision of Mobile Premium user Xperience
We can only await what their flagship series will bring to the front in september.
Trolls and haters cant seem to wrap that fact around their little heads, so keep repeating their little rants of doom, already 3rd year in a row, as if anyone will give a rats about their opinions...
Sony certainly does not ;-)

Sammy release S series in first quarter, and note series in september. They are different, S for regular user, and note for professional.
LG also has G series and pro series(last year with V series). V10 is unique.
'They' just dont have skill to make special or unique phone. All eXperian are just regular phones. The difference of high end and low end phones are only specs.
You say not innovative at all???

the feeling of purchasing their latest flagship z5 premium and then after 3 or 4 months they will release a new one, with almost the same spec, sony its not about how many brands you release its what would make an impact to the customers. not all of us are familiar with the technical stuff but atleast focus on one model for the next 6 to 12 months. what you are doing is making us feel that what we had is now a thing on the past, well your new ones are not innovative at all

If Sony really did show their true potential with less price then everybody's favorite chinese manufacturer(Xiaomi) would be in the brink of bankruptcy. Sony is known for quality which you need to pay for high price Chinese phones are known for crappy cheap phones which ironically, everyone likes because of cheap price which means that stupidity of people today is at high and will undoubtedly lead to logical extinction.
