They release new phones but really close or same specs. How can that make people "Wow!"? I just dont get it? They could've been the best by now if they just listen to their customers and give them the best they have. They totally ignore people even if they are already shrinking in the market share. WAKE UP SONY! Wake up!

Z5 series was a sign of hope but now its dead.

Yep, midrange series X is,contains midrange devices, including X performance, otherwise it would hold a different monicker... no matter what you try to speculate
Yep android is better software than ios, better connectivity, feature support, homescreens, theme support, adaptivity, etc,etc
And Sony is among best android UI
Yep, Sonys midranger X perform. will be a better performer than S7 in many aspects, in some won't. Shame for samsung isn't it?

Apple won't have 3gb of RAM until the iPhone9 or 10. Their simplistic, no-feature OS simply doesn't require anything more than 2gb of RAM and a dual core CPU. Maybe I don't want every single app I download to be on my home screen. Also, all you ppl who are suckling the Apple teet, in case you hadn't seen, Samsung's new 12mp cam sensor is now decimating the iPhone 6S Plus in normal to low light settings. Basically, the light levels that pretty much everyone takes 95% of their photos in. But don't worry guys, you can still drop $1,000 on a phone whose only unique feature is "Force Touch". Did you guys even get an SD card slot yet?

You know, this mediocre phone is just Sonys midranger, so it lacks features such as 4k, etc,...
-Mid-ranger with SD 820, now that's unheard of. (Unless its a china phone)(This midrange phone will have a flagship price tag. I can guarantee you that:)
But even then....
Its better tech and software than any iphone flagship out there...
-Better software? Dont think so buddy. Tech, i wonder who copies more (Fingerprint, Force touch)(Off course Sony fanboys will claim Apple somehow copied force touch from an old Xperia device)
Enjoy your iphone 7 with 2 gigs, mono, mediocre camera, non standard slots, mediocre connectivity...
- Nah, i might get an S7 tomorrow which is superior in every way. (Haven't been a fan of iPhone since the 4s.)
Heard its catching up to waterproofnes though...
-Looks like S7 is now waterproof. What exclusive features does Sony have now? I feel sorry for Sony Mobile Division. They have nothing to compete with S7. Don't be shocked when you see their next financial quarter is in the red again.
