There is really no point of more power since snapdragon 800, every flagship device since snapdragon 800 is smoothly fast. but that's just my opinion.

The Xperia Performance is a MIDRANGE device. Why?
- It has ONLY 4 SD820 cores, not 8!
- Only 3GB RAM, not 4
- FHD not QHD
It is a mid-range flagship, not a high-end flagship!
The high-end one will probably be released in September, let's hope sooner..

-i stated in this forum at least twice that i would buy a Z5 Premium in a heartbeat under a few conditions:
-Has SD 820 (810 is inferior, overheats and kills battery).
-Has 2K screen or 1080p. Several reviews have proved that 4K Screen on a phone is a gimmick and waste of performance and battery.

Look at xp's metal back. Its simple plain flat rectangle. I think i can make something like that, I dont even need to go to my uncle garage. I only need scissor, ruler and drill. It wont be super precise, but it will works.
While to make metal chassis is far more complicated and difficult.

I am pretty sure both X and X performance have 4k recording since the chipsets support this.
Are you people mad to think Sony would release a midrange series with no 4k?
This could be an overlap of midrange and high-end.
