Only half the test was at max.

Real... morethere is no-one from SONY here that could answer your question , anyway the reason is simple ; front facing stereo speakers and 1/3'' sensor size of the 13MP front(selfie) camera are culprits for those little big bigger top and bottom bezels...

It's only marginally better than my Z1 on screen time with auto brightness.

And only Huawei that already has phones with that tech. Android N will also support daydream, and huawei already has VR headset that meets their requirement.

None of the sony phones in that comparison have been reviewed by gsmarena to have excellent battery life like the Z2, Z3 or compact series.

I think the next vendor to make nexus ... moreLOL it's not about the skill it's only about the money and always was about the money , company that will make nexus phones will be those who can make it at lowest price and those are Chinese vendors (Huawei, Zte ,etc ...)
Sony engineering is supreme , there isn't single OEM that can actually even compete with Sony in terms of engineering ... but any company can beat them when it comes to marketing....Sony is acting like they don't want to sell their phones .
