X will have 10hr videotime now, and will have 10hr videotime after 2 years...
Same for browsingtime and all other

Now that is one superb fact when you come to think about it

      Xperia X is already outstanding for midrange phone that uses 28nm soc and 2620mAh .
      It beat phones like G5 and HTC 10 only S7 dose little better than Xperia X but those are flagships and Xperia X is midranger !! (14nm vs 28nm , 3000mAh vs 2620 , flagship vs midrange phone )

      X Perfromance have 14nm soc and a bit larger battery . so battery life will be best in 2015 on this phone.

          And they both are sammy fanboys.

          You probably arent satisfied with s7 battery, as by using UI and apps, or browsing, which are mostly not black color oriented, your oled screen is eating up much more energy than lcd would....
          Same goes for blacks on lcd....
          But knowing touchwizz and most apo design, this kind of battery test easily decieves users.

          Furthermore if I remember correctly, for videotime they use some harrypotter scene, which is mainly dark, which gives unfair advantage in favour of oled based devices when testing video playback time ;-)

          For a 2600 maH on a 5 incher battery these are good results
          And if you talk 1h daily, watch 2h video daily(which I dont), and browse 4h daily....just as me, youll get about 2 days batterylife.
          But then again, your getting X performance, not X. ;-)

            Not sure why you think the XP will be so bad. The X was only ONE MINUTE less than the S7 on Web Browsing, and the S7 has a 3000 mAh battery vs. the X's 2620 mAh. So with the XP having an even bigger 2700 mAh battery, it stands to reason that it will most definitely outdo the S7 on web browsing. And since I spend MUCH more time web browsing on my phone than actually making calls or watching videos, it sounds like the XP wins here.

              I'm not that young (late 30s), and I haven't been a "gamer" since the mid-90s. lol And I work full-time and am currently back in school pursuing a Masters. So I don't have much spare time really.

              I love design and features. There are things I love about the S7, but it just isn't the same as with Sony. Samsung phones and I don't really like each other much. lol

              Zen 3........Snapdragon 615 + phablet size phone? Thanks but no thanks.

S7 is for people who loves design and features. You need standard one like motos, zenfones, nexuses. Dont go for sammy, LG, huawei, oppo.

                You better wait for zen 3. It will have better looking and better quality.

                          I am not really impressed ... sticking with my Xperia Z5 .

                            And how is it worse? Marshmallow is more efficient for battery than Lollipop, plus the newer 820 has some great battery-saving options built into it too.

                            When I get the XP I'll decide if it's really inferior or not. But so far, I'm not impressed by the S7's battery life. You can't even use the Power Saver option b/c then you have to MANUALLY download all your MMS messages b/c it blocks them. 360 app won't do that garbage. Let's them come in downloaded automatically, and STILL saves power.

                            F Samsung. It doesn't even have the best camera anymore either.

                              Qnovo was brought up, because Sony fans kept boasting about.

                              I said in other forums, theirs no benefit from Qnovo until after 4 years of owning this phone.

                              1080p display and battery still inferior to Samsung with 2K display.

Instead, I go off real life experience. My Z3 only had a 3100 mAH battery, and it was INCREDIBLE. So to me, 2700 is not much different, ESPECIALLY if you are utilizing Stamina Mode or even better, the 360 Hibernation Master app. It does what SM does, but better. (Only works on Sony Xperia phones, not Samsung. Not sure on other brands yet.)

                                QNovo is the charger. What does that have to do with anything? Endurance tests are testing the battery life when the phone is NOT being charged.

                                    Yeah it is a QNovo charger, but it is Qualcomm-compliant too.
