Is not the amount of mAh that have a battery, you can't do nothing with a 4000 mAh battery that drains all the power in 6 or 8 hours, Sony knows how to create a great, fast and optimized system, with a 2700 mAh battery of the X Performance i'm sure that you can enjoy so full your phone. I'm an Apple user but I have to recognize the power of Sony and his fluid system.

And this is a thing that Sony is good at! It is not enough to have a 3500 baterry if the software consumes it in 6 hours...or it last like this 6 month (IPhone) 😂.

That was the phone that put Sony in the race. LG came to the high end race with the G2 and HTC with M7
Until then the race was dominated by Apple and Sammy.
And now in 2016 Sony seems to slipping from the race. Hope they come with something great in September, which they usually do.

SD820 in XP is much more energy efficient than the SD801 in your Z2
The X and XP have Qnovo battery tech which again the Z2 lacks.
Theres a lot more to battery life than just capacity

So despite the smaller battery X series will last longer than Z2/Z3
