I don't think I'm ever buying a Sony anymore. the device keeps on crashing, it heats up quickly and I always suffer from lagging

Great device. With 18 months of use, his performance is incredible, the only con, is the battery duration, wich in this time, has reduced his durability.
His proccesor and memory RAM, still can run any app, without problem.
An excellent device for his price.

My problem with the Sony XA is not only the battery life as someone said you have to charge it twice a day but the very poor sound quality I am really disappointed and cannot see myself buying a Sony phone again

I like this phone a loot :-)
A good and decent phone for the money, a little bit to thin to be healthy as frame stability being weak as whit all thin phones.
A problem I see some have in here, but I guess it's more a reflection on those as a person ;-)
If you pretect your investmet wita a good cover that's no problem, just as it's whit all other thin phones.
It's pretty fast and responcive for the cost and with a little twerking the battery last for more than a day with heavy use of social media like facebook and messanger, if just some normal calls a day then it last several days.
But one of the strogest point to by this phone is the support that realy stands out in the Androide universe, has never before had a phone with sutch a good support and with a steady update to newest os, and each time the phone seems to be even bether.
Take care of the phone and you have a long lasting companion!
In opposite to beating the phone as I read some does when complaining abouth random behaviour, that just reflects the users behaviour and not the phones behaviour ;-)

My first smartphone was an LG L3, I can swear, when it was new, it was sooooo much better, this phone has been trash since the day I've bought other, I'm going back to my destroyed xperia z3, I'd rather suffer a destroyed screen which touch functionality is trashed than this, every single thing about this phone is absolutely horrible, before this I really liked Sony smartphones, this and the xz2 made me run away from Sony as fast as I could, if Sony tried harder they could have kept many customers including me, instead of trashing the Xperia division every chance they get

Don't buy any Sony phone. I had the my phone for less than a year and suddenly my wifi connection started dropping. I contacted my service provider, Bell, and they told me it was a problem with the phone. I asked Sony for help and they shut me down, saying they would fix the phone if I shipped it off to them. The problem is that this idiotic phone is the only one I have. I don't have a landline. So Sony needs to get up-to-date with the needs of their customers. Would I buy another Sony phone? NO NO NO. Their customer service stinks. I can't be without a phone for the time that it will take Sony to fix a defective product.

Worst phone i have ever purchased. The battery life is terrible. Requires two charges for the day with moderate use. Software issues. Phones becomes slow, delayed and unresponsive. These issues occurred within the second month of purchase, without much customisation or third party applications installed.

My Xperia Xa works very smooth and I've had it over a year. Only issue is the security level is stuck on August 2017 or something like that. It's a great phone

Remind, 4G network just for internet connection only. 3G & 2G use for call & sms. Question, 5G for internet only?

This is the worst phone I have ever owned. On 4G and WiFi it drops calls often, it loses connection to 4G data and WiFi data, the only "cure" is a reboot - typically needed 6-8 times a day. Don't waste your money on this phone, get a Samsung instead. Overall view: under-engineered for reliability. Never again, Sony.
