Guys,
does this touch screen problem appear in any particular countries or is it a global problem? Searching other forums it seems to me that mostly people from Asia and Australia that complain on this issue. Anyone from Europe experiencing this?

I bought it in may 2017
I face a touch problem in July...
I return my set in August and get new one at free of cost from service center. Till now working good...
Camera is equivalent to 18 mp dslr
And processor is too good... At all it is very good to use at this cost.....
But now is the time of using dual camera and fingerprint phone. So use another phone... If you buying a phone now... I suggest Mi A2

If you need a good camera and well sized and a lighter device than XA1 is good. Try the dual version it might be better.

Is there any negativ... moreI'd suggest you get the much better XA2 instead that has Snapdragon, Better Camera that can record 4k, Bigger Battery, has Fingerprint Sensor, overall better but slightly expensive considering its SoC/Upgraded components.

I didn't face any touch screen issues till date. Have been using it for over 5 months. For all those who faced touch screen issues really sorry to hear this. Please do not spread negative remarks. It all depends which store you guys purchased the phone from. Have also heard that most of the touch screen issues were those who purchased it online.

I don't understand why there is no single unit in my country suffering this touch screen problem, this phone is one of the best selling smartphones in my country and no complaints at all.

I bought an xperia xa1 and I do not recommend anyone buying this phone. Almost every phone will start having issues with the touch screen within the first 6 months. Sony WON'T replace or either recognize any defects on the phone. Please update me on any class action sue.

Broke apple lover, 20 Feb 2018Should I get this phone or huawei p smart ?P smart has a bad quality camera and not that good at 4g. Only battery backup is better. Go for XA1 overall and also it should be cheaper.

Got the phone on 5th January as a replacement for my Sony Xperia M4 aqua, which had crashed. So far very pleased. It's a nice compact phone with no issues. The really great thing is that it has 32gig of memory, compared to only 8 on the M4. Had to use an SD card on that. Quite surprised to see so many negative reviews for the XA1.

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2018used for the past 4 months. horrible!!! touch pad does't wo... moreyou're right.. mine i used almost 2week, the upper screen did not work.. even they fixed it but after 1mon. again screen problem. i bought it for 16, 000 here iin my country, not worth it
