I bought this amazing Xperia several days ago. Its working fine. Its really fast and stylish! Screen color vividness is awesome. It has no problem at all. Actually there is no feature which this phone doesn't support.
I hope I won't encounter those sort of problems about touchscreen and speaker that you mentioned :-)
I have my half a dozen SonyEricsson and Sony old phones and all of them are still working fine; It's why Sony is my favorite brand.

I am very disappointed with Sony Xperia XA1, It is really very worst product by Sony. Facing daily basis hanging issues, whenever internet access and you get lot of notification "System UI isn't responding" pop up open

This is the worse Sony phone I've ever used. Just three months and the phone has problems with the touch screen and faulty speaker. I'm a Sony fun, but very disappointed. Never try the XA1...

The only problem that i have encountered is the low quality of plastic (back cover). I used this phone for almost 1 month and all the scratches are everywhere at the back cover.

Someone who has the model g3123 has had problems with the touch screen? As they say below that usually the defective are the Asian and perhaps European versions. I plan to buy it because in my country Uruguay the g3123 is the one that is traded

Had an Xperia E4 perfectly fine good on the Internet storage not so great struggling to find a replacement battery for it so bought the xa1 but you can't open Internet links through email etc problem with Java how can the newer version of your phone be worse than the old version

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2017How about bad QC?Every region have its own QC depending of people and its education. Depending of that products and service centers are better or worst for all makers not only Sony. In my region in was only 12 cases of screen failure and of 100, but a specific well known and important store changed them all to its clients. Of course there are stores and distributors that don't change anything and vanish from the market and that is very important for everybody to search and find.

I had screen problems. Got it repaired by Sony repair. I had to wait ling to get it back.
Few days after receiving it. I made a call phone screen went off. Noting on screen. I didn't know whether I was on call or totally shut down. I pressed power button to turn it on, clicks nothing happens. Then I heard a voice made me realized call has been answered. After call ended it came back on. Tried another call same thing happened. I will never touch Sony phones again.

Sonyuser85, 05 Dec 2017Xa1 it's top notch. The XA1 is complete garbage. After only two months I'm on the LONG list of people who have faulty touchscreens. Try using a keyboard when you can't hit the P or return keys - so frustrating. It also requires frequent rebooting for Bluetooth functionality to work with my car.

More than that, X has problems with the screen, green lines affecting the usage... So what a world!
Some XA1 may have some flaws but its price is reasonable and its performance it's great!
So think again, be fair!

It was worst phone don't encourage Sony xa1 I bought just 1 month to in this day so many complaints one time speaker problems second time hanging problems third time touch problem when I go to service center every one comes with Sony xa1 mobile complaints so plz don't buy it

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2017Only iPhone X has a top notch lol1000 $ for a averange display, with a mediocre camera, and a mediocre battery backup. Touched both phones and not in 1 million years to have a Iphone X!!
No Iphone X compared to XA1, because of (in my real life experience):
1. X has no better camera (25 vs 12 mp) I have samples on Esato (I'm not allowed to attach site or full quality samples here). 12 mp daylight of XA1 are like DSLR ones with no processing artifacts in spite of not having Optical Lens. One picture of XA1 can reach 20 mb in size. Amazing XA1 camera quality of manual camera settings with third party apps. No shutter button on X.
2. No good compatibility with other Sony or Windows devices, bad bluetooth/tethering. connection by X.
3. No OTG.
4. No headphone jack connector.
5. Same quality as XA1 media sound/video stock player.
6. Same battery backup as XA1 (1 day full usage).
7. Browsing with XA1 with third party browsers is sometimes faster than X with its stock one.
8. Same screen brightness, same color vividness.
9. Same speed in settings menu.
10. And worst nearly 6 times more expensive!!!
Iphone = Ifools, sorry but that's the most painful truth.
