Initially recharging problems then system errors, then finally when I thought I had one which worked OK, after 4 weeks the edges of the touch screen stopped working. Impossible to use properly. I gave up and got a refund. A pity, but a phone which is completely unreliable is no good, especially when Sony deny there is a product problem.

well Sony xperia XA1 plus have a big battery for the first time in Sony's history of midrange smartphones and tests prove that it is excellent

I dont know why sony make phones with low battery...
Although low battery, sony make a powerful saving modes on the phones

I bought it in June 2017 first week and after 15 days it went to service center due to touch screen problem, I received the phone on after 30 days and using it, but since last two month again same problem I am fed up with this I had a bad experience with this hand set. I always use Sony phone since 2005 and used, 3 phone of sony. But never been fed up. How did you fill when you have a good handset but touch screen not working..

Poor quality control by sony.
My 5 month Xperia fall from table height. My phone has toughen glass and rubber back cover. Toughen glass was intact. But screen got cracked with bleeding light.
I gave to sony centre . They told me that; screen is broken, mother board is broken, battery got band. Cost is INR 13500 Rs.
I got screen replaced initially for touch screen issues too.
If you are pretty extra careful about your phone, then this phone is for you.
Only best thing about this phone was it has pretty awesome battery life.

i'm from the philippines,can i ask someone who bought xperia XA1 in the philippines, have you also encountered the same problem other people experienced? like the touchscreen problem(unresponsive Q and P)?

I read some old xperia tips online and tried turning stamina mode ON and set it to the lowest 15% and just found out the low battery notification no longer comes in at 30% and instead comes at 15% which makes the xa1 experience a lot better now :)
