Guys with touchscreen problems should raise the problem in social media and escalate to Sony's management. Make Sony take responsibility for their manufacturing defect and issue a replacement or refund to those with affected units.

mine works perfectly fine. good thing, I purchased a white one. Been using it on games (MCOC). the only thing ive encountered is when the battery's low, touch screen is not that responsive. I also hope they would include the double tap to wake just like in Z3. Over-all, great performance, camera's superb (main reason why I brought it, cheap but with excellent camera)

Hi I have inserted jio sim in it. The mobile getting restarts and my sim card gets deactivated every time. What is the issue please help me to resolve it. Does it support jio VOLTE?

But there's no official statement by sony to at least acknowledge this hardware issues or to consult the affected customers. Maybe not enough complaint filled that sony feel no obligation to speak and it just their midrange phone after all,not worth the hassle.

I went to two different Sony stores (this was in the Philippines) and tested their live units for touch issues (pulling down the drop down menu in autorotate mode, pressing P, L, Q and backspace). In one of the stores only one unit out of 4 was affected, but in the other 2 or 3 out of 4 were affected. In both stores at least one affected unit was black. This isn't a very rare rate at all, this seems like a very common manufacturing defect.

I purchased this phone in USA on 06/14/17, I used rougly for about 2 weeks and all of the sudden the screen started to flickers like it was receiving pressure so I restarted and then nothing just a black screen with backlit and green vertical lines, no dropped or liquid, just regular use; basic troubleshooting steps like turn off, imposible to perform any other action because there is no display at all.
