I am a regular user of samsung smartphones,Though people are complaining they faced problem with samsung but I dont. For the first time I purchased Sony Xperia XA seeing peoples review but I did not find much intresting and moreover the left hand side touch is really worst since last week i am facing problem and today whole left hand touch is not responding and i am visiting service centre today.For a brand new phone cost rs 20000 and this type of problem sony it is very bad for reputed company.The thing which I have learnt is I will never go with sony in future in smartphones.

Using this one, the design is super cool. The phone run fast but battery will be dead very soon when run heavy game. Due to the material, the phone get cool very fast but very easy to scratch. Happy with the phone. However, remember to use the cover or case when u decide to buy this one.

I played games for more than 3 hours nonstop and the phone was just slightly warmer than my hand, in warm weather. But performance was not affected. I was also impressed by the battery life. Seems like it can last 5 hours of intense gaming and even when battery was 5% it did not slow performance like previous Sony phones. Thanks to its power efficient chip and lower screen resolution, the GPU and CPU doesn't need to work as hard. It will also slow down charging when near 100% to increase longevity of the battery, so I only charge it to 90%. Samsung battery may last longer brand new, but they deteriorate very fast. My friend's Samsung Galaxy seems like only can last 3 hours now, even though it seems like it charges to 100% super fast, but it's only because the capacity has deteriorated already.
(so far I only used the phone for gaming, and it is very smooth. I think the loudspeaker sound quality is bad but so are other brands..only Sony flagship has TRUE stereo speakers..best to use headphones for quality for any phone anyway)

I have this phone and have no problems with the touchscreen. And the quick toggles work on single tap, not sure what you mean. One tap to switch on, tap again to switch off. Press and hold for additional settings. If you don't like the apps, let me remind you that you are using android, so many apps in the play store for you to download.

I would have gone for other mobiles with better spec at this cost. I purchased XA1 for Sony's quality amidst the cost. I'm not the only one with that issue. Many have reported the right edge sensitivity problem. To make things worse, my device was not charging yesterday all of a sudden though I have tried in multiple sockets. I guess I was one unlucky guy to receive the defective piece. I approached an authorized service center today with so much difficulty and they told that it will take 10 days to get it resolved. I had Moto G 1st Gen earlier. It was working like a charm for years though I'm not a fan of its design. I'm disappointed in Sony. Well, I purchased it with the cost of accepting its negatives but having issues with the few days of purchase is a pain.
